"Hit and Miss: Inconsistent Care at Milestones Assisted Living"
Sometimes at Milestones, things go well. The staff tries to help everyone, but it's not always perfect. Some days, the care and the place seem nice. Other times, it feels like they're not as friendly or helpful. The place is usually clean, and most of the staff are kind and helpful. But upstairs, it's not always the same. Sometimes, the rooms aren't clean, and the tables in the community room are sticky. Some workers are great, but others don't seem interested in helping families. Overall, it feels like the care here can be inconsistent. But I know they're all doing their best to do their job.

"Disastrous Experience at MM Assisted Living Facility Explained"
My grandma stayed there when her lawyer chose the place for her. I had no idea how terrible it was. Grandma never eats chicken or turkey but that's what they served her most of the time. Clean-up duty was barely getting done aside from taking out trash. Grandma couldn't control her bladder because of her severe dementia, and her room was always smelling of pee. Sometimes, the smell was even noticeable when you're just passing by in the hallway. There was an unfortunate incident where she soiled herself and the stain remained until we finally moved her out. They didn't have enough staff, and she was lucky if she got bathed once a week. I wouldn't want anyone, not even someone I can't stand, to end up in MM.

"Mother Forced To Call 9-1-1 in Negligent Assisted Living Facility"
I have to keep this short. My mom needed help late at night at this assisted living facility. She rang the bell, waiting for some help, but nobody came for a long time. Since she had a hard time breathing, she had no other option but to call 9-1-1 on her phone. She had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes before finally making that decision. What's crazy is that the ambulance got there quicker than any nurse. The fact that they might be short on staff doesn't make this okay. This happened on a morning that I'd rather not mention. This place used to be a really good one my grandparents used to stay. Based on old reviews, we decided to trust Manatawny Manor. Sadly, the place isn't as good as it used to be. It went bad pretty quickly.

"Facility too hospital-like, mom wouldn't be pleased."
The staff was friendly, but the place felt too much like a hospital. I don't think my mom would like it here.

My dad wasn’t at Manatawny Manor for long, but I faced some problems during his stay. The staff always seemed short-handed and never had enough help. They could answer most questions, but getting anything related to a doctor's attention was difficult. It took over 2 weeks to get answers, only after talking to the executive director. My dad had Alzheimer’s, and the food they served felt wrong. They often gave him peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, claiming he ate only half or a quarter of his meal. But whenever I visited, he ate everything. The cleanliness was okay, and they had activities like bingo and movie nights to keep everyone busy. Other residents were friendly. We chose Manatawny Manor because it's close to my mom, but it wasn't worth the money. My dad needed more individual care, which they didn’t provide. I won’t consider it for my mom's future.

"Facility Mishandles Residents and Offers Poor Food and Care"
I'd move my mom away from here instantly if I could. They continuously mismanage her care, and more than once they've dressed her unsuitably for medical appointments causing her to be rejected. The food is laughable - she was served chicken for five consecutive meals. Now, she's refusing to eat, and my dad has to scramble to arrange meals for her on a daily basis. The physical therapy was excessively harsh and uncooperative. Absolutely not recommended!

"Feels clinical, not welcoming. More like nursing home. Not ideal."
We visited this place when deciding on care for a family member. I didn't really like Manatawny Manor. It seemed too much like a hospital, not cozy or friendly. It reminded me more of a nursing home than a place where people get help with living. I didn't think it would be a good fit for my loved one.
