"Meals, laundry, therapy, and friendly staff"
The meals were really good. They did all the laundry there. I had therapy five days a week. The staff was very helpful, attentive, and friendly.

"Great Activities and Recommendable Place for Loved Ones"
They have many activities for residents here. It was a good place for my loved one. There are plenty of opportunities for her to do things. I always tell people this is a nice place and that I would recommend this community.

"Great Stay, Friendly Staff, Delicious Breakfast"
My dad stayed here for a short break before going home, and he had so many good things to say about the staff and the place. He really liked the special breakfast and the eggs made just for him each morning. It made it easier for him to get ready to go home on his own. If he ever needs to move in permanently, we’d definitely come back.

"Terrible Experience at Mifflin Center, No Proper Care"
My family and I were told by the healthcare professionals at Reading Hospital that the Mifflin Center was the right place for our dad. They made a point that if ever he needed to get hospitalized, the proximity to the hospital and the expertise of their trained nursing staff would be beneficial. Things seemed to be progressing well during his first week at the center, but thereafter he started exhibiting signs resembling a stroke. We had to draw the nurse's attention to this and direct her to contact the doctor. The physical therapy team also acknowledged that his health state had changed significantly. Not only did he behave like a person who had had a stroke, but the nursing staff and the doctor seemingly disregarded his illness. To add to our frustration, the doctor did not even see him at the center, and as a result, his health continued deteriorating. Put simply, appearances can be deceiving, and this is a terrible facility. He had a fall incident, and each nurse had different conflicting stories about that day. I wouldn't recommend Mifflin Center.

"Lackluster Staff Interaction at Assisted Living Facility"
The place seemed kind of dull. We didn't see the staff interacting with the residents much. They were hidden away in their offices while the residents were left sitting around, which was a bit depressing.
