"Great Staff and Cleanliness, but Mixed Meals"

The staff are really nice. I’m there a lot and have never heard them be rude or mean. They’re usually very kind and patient. Housekeeping is good. Trash is taken out every day. The room is always clean and the bed is made. Communication with family is good in some ways. My mom has fallen a few times and they always call me with a full report. But my mom has regular PT and I never hear from the PT, only the nurses. Moving in was easy. Meals are hit or miss, according to my mom. More things are good than bad, but it’s just okay to her. I would definitely recommend the place. It’s a bargain compared to other places. It took my mom about a month to get used to living there, so families shouldn’t expect instant happiness.

"Great Therapy, Communication Needs Improvement"

Overall, we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience. The physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) were wonderful. However, the nursing and care staff didn’t always communicate well with each other, and they weren’t good at all about communicating with us until we had a meeting with administration. The care was okay not horrible but not stellar either. Part of the problem might have been low staffing.

"Friendly, Clean, and Fun but a Bit Pricey"

I would tell my friends that this place feels like any other community. It’s close by, clean, and the staff is friendly. It is a bit pricey, though. Before COVID, they had fun activities like family hayrides, trivia, game nights, bingo, wine before dinner, and movie nights."

"Warm, welcoming community with attentive staff and great food!"

From the moment you walk into New Seasons at New Britain, you can feel the warmth, friendliness, and sense of family. The ladies at the front desk are always smiling, courteous, and very helpful, making you feel welcome right away. She is great at coordinating your stay and makes you feel right at home. The director does an excellent job maintaining the wonderful reputation that New Seasons has. This place truly deserves a 10-star rating! I can't say enough good things about her kind, caring nursing duties. The nursing staff, aides, and everyone else who make New Seasons such a happy and uplifting place deserve the highest compliments. The food is always delicious and varied, and they’re happy to accommodate special requests. When you ask for help, the staff is very attentive. Every visit to New Seasons brings an uplifting, positive feeling—a real sense of family and teamwork to meet your every need during your stay.

I'm happy with my decision to move here. Everything's going well so far, and I feel comfortable. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. The place is always neat and tidy. The staff is great and always ready to assist. They serve good meals and offer fun activities. I would recommend this community; it's working out well for me.

"Happy parents, clean, kind staff, good meals, and great experience."

My parents are doing very well here. They’ve adjusted quickly and are really happy. The community looks nice and is kept clean. The staff is kind, and there are activities available when they want to join in. The meals are very good, and even other family members were impressed. Overall, it’s been a great experience, and I would recommend this community.

"Poor Management and Staffing Issues at New Seasons Facility"

The helpers here are really kind, but it's clear they're overworked. They never directly say that there aren't enough people working, but it's super obvious. The boss doesn't answer calls on time and sadly, she doesn't even remember who the residents are. They've lost some really great, caring employees lately, all because the people running the place aren't doing a good job. The focus should be less on how many people are living here and more on the quality of care they're providing. I can't suggest New Seasons at New Britain for my family or friends anymore.

"NewSeasons Offers Subpar Care and Poor Communication"

Our time dealing with NewSeasons has not been good at all. It's obvious they don't have enough staff and this has negatively impacted the level of care they're able to offer. The amount of time it takes for them to respond when my loved one needs help is far too long. Sometimes, they don't even show up until I personally have to call them and inform them that my loved one requires help. We've faced problems with the night aides too, where they just refuse to help, telling her that the issue will be looked after by the morning staff. This is entirely not okay. There has also been confusion over interaction with the hospital and medications. Our experience with them has been bad and I cannot suggest their service to others.
