"Inadequate Care and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
My dad's experience at this assisted living facility has been terrible for the past year. When he arrived, he was pretty mobile and took care of most tasks on his own. But the facility is critically short on staff. His roommate constantly messed up the bathroom, and when we complained, they suggested we pay for a single room. The food is just slop. They left vomit on his carpet for months, claiming they didn't know how to clean it up. One time, they forgot to assign anybody to serve meals in the dining room. They completely ignore my dad's diabetes diet. They misplaced his dentures and now refuse to replace them. It feels like I'm constantly fighting them to do what's right. Luckily, we managed to change the power of attorney and move my dad out of this place. Just last week, I found out that my dad had been in the hospital for two days- nobody at the facility knew about it. They asserted that they called the power of attorney, but there was no such message. My 89-year-old dad, who suffers from dementia, spent two days in the hospital alone. They never return calls, and their behavior is just unacceptable! I urge you to think twice before leaving your loved one at this facility.

"Disappointing Experience at NSRV Assisted Living Facility"
Our time at NSRV has been disappointing. When we moved our parents there in March 2018, a new company was taking over. They promised many great services, but it's been problem after problem since then. One big issue is the bad food quality. It's a daily problem that the administration doesn't seem to fix. The cook we were told about left right after we arrived. It took a long time to find a new one, and the food was awful during the search. Old people shouldn't have to eat bad food. It's supposed to be a good part of their day. Even with a new cook, the food quality is still mostly poor. I don't get why this hasn't been fixed after all these months.

"Friendly Staff but Slow Response"
My loved one stayed here for a short time, and overall, it seemed like a nice place. The facility was clean and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly. However, my relatives who visited said the staff wasn't as quick to help with care requests, like bathroom assistance, as they said they would be.

"Friendly, Attentive Staff"
Mom's second visit here. We checked their assisted living, but it was pricey. Staff is friendly and attentive—no need to search for help.
