" "Neglected and Abused: Poor Experiences at Assisted Living Facility""
For 8 months, my sister was in the Alzheimer's section of this place. Shockingly, they never cleaned her room. The workers here are super lazy. I saw one of them hit and shove a lady who couldn't talk. I reported it, but nothing changed. They hardly ever change the residents' clothes. My sister fell one day, and no one knows how long she was on the floor. She broke her shoulder blade and spent 3 days in the hospital. Also, she had a urinary infection that was ignored. Another resident came in with a skin infection and was not treated for about 2 months. It was so bad, everyone else had to be treated. My sister is at a different place now.

"Beautiful place with good food and happy residents"
It is very beautiful and well-kept, but residents need to clean their own rooms. The overall look is much nicer than Country Manor, where they were before. Even though it's a long drive for me, it's worth the extra money for a beautiful place where they're happy. The food is better, which is important to people.

Be cautious placing loved ones here. Memory care lacks monitoring. Residents wander unsupervised, staff uninformed. Food satisfactory, activities minimal.

This place is really caring. Sometimes, it’s hard to get care because they don’t have enough staff. But they always try their best to take care of everyone. They communicate well and let us know if anything happens with our loved one.

"Unimpressed with Northview Estates' service and treatment"
If you're thinking about Northview Estates, you should know that I didn't have such a great experience. My initial meeting with the marketing person was not pleasant; she didn't seem friendly or excited about the place. After that, I was ready to write it off, but she had a few friends who already lived there, so she ended up choosing it anyway. She's not happy there now, especially about the food. She says it's not that good and complains a lot. During this COVID time, the situation's been worse; she feels more like she's being locked up than living in a place that cares about her. The activities they offer feel like they're meant for little kids in kindergarten, not grownups. To be completely honest, we're not impressed with this place.

It used to be a hospital, but it’s a good fit for my mom. The cost is reasonable, especially with the extra care fees. The atmosphere is pleasant.

"Happy with Memory Care, Not Regular Assisted Living"
My father recently moved into the memory care unit here, and I'm very pleased with how things are going. They always have two nurses for only nine to ten patients, so there's a lot of one-on-one time and plenty of activities during the day. The food is okay but could be better. I wasn't happy with the regular assisted living unit. There was never any staff around, and the care wasn't good. I'm much happier with him in the memory care unit.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
My uncle is doing well at this place. We're happy he's here. They take good care of him and his needs. The place is kept up nicely, very clean. The staff are nice and polite. He's getting good care. We're happy with everything they've done for us.
