"Great Experience at Paramount Senior Living"
My family member lives at Paramount Senior Living at Bethel Park, and everything has been great for her so far. It’s been a good experience. From what we’ve seen, I would recommend this place to others.

"Good staff, poor management, noisy neighbor, and low engagement"
Some things about Paramount are great, like some of the nurses and aides. My dad pays for the highest level of care, but sometimes there aren't enough staff, and he misses showers, which are only twice a week. A man across the hall yells "help" and curses almost all day, disturbing everyone. For the high cost, my dad deserves a quiet place to rest, but he and others aren't getting it. No one in charge fixes this bad situation. The facility is clean and nicely decorated for holidays. They have nice social events with families. My dad needs help joining activities and meeting people, but the staff doesn't help, even after we asked. For the high cost, I expect more. I haven't seen other places, but I'd recommend Paramount with some concerns.

"Inadequate Staff and Management at Overpriced Assisted Living Home"
This facility really disappoints me, especially with their lack of workers. Their leaders don't pay any attention to the patients or their families. They trick you with a fancy tour of a "demo room", but the actual places aren't that nice. My family member who stays there told us that stuff keeps missing from their room. They also said the activities they do are super boring. Workers don't stick around for long, and just when they start trusting some staff, they quit or get moved to another part of the building. Continuity of care is essential but is non-existent here. Hospitals keep their nurses on the same floors, so why can't these nursing homes do the same? That way, we could figure out who's stealing and who's working. The cost of this place is way too high for the poor management and constant excuses they give. The meals they serve aren't delicious either. I think they will keep losing both workers and money because families, like mine, aren't satisfied and are moving their loved ones out.

"Unimpressive Layout in Assisted Living Facility"
I visited Paramount Senior Living at Bethel Park, but it didn't wow me. They turned a living room into a bedroom to squeeze in more people. I just wasn't impressed.

"Clean, friendly staff and great communication made a good impression"
First, we noticed how clean everything was and that there were no bad smells. The staff were very friendly and communicated well with our family. We were very happy with everyone we met.

"Awful Experience: Deceitful, Abusive and Neglectful Assisted Living Facility"
My mom lived there for three years. They'll say anything to convince you to check in. My mom suffered from mistreatment, theft and the most terrible thing is, when she was sent to the hospital, she was suffering from blood poisoning and dehydration, to name just a few issues. Really think before deciding. It looks nice, but it's all a fancy facade.

"Unreliable and Deceitful Assisted Living - Avoid Paramount Baldwin!"
I would definitely advise staying away from Paramount Baldwin! My dad was in their care for a short 3 days on the respite side... After pressing the nurse's button and making attempts to go to the bathroom himself, they never assisted him. As a result, he fell, got injured, and landed in the hospital. I had already given them a deposit of 1,000 dollars for his stay. Yet, they refused to refund us as some of his clothes remained in the room after he left. They took all 1,000 dollars despite him only staying for 3 days! They even claimed we still owed them 400 dollars more. They justified it by saying my dad had agreed to this in the contract which was never explained to my brother. They were vague and kept insinuating my dad had known despite him being hospitalized with a fracture which they caused by failing to assist him. They claimed to have called often, but my brother only remembered them reaching out once on the final day my dad was contracted for. Please, avoid this company at all costs. They're clearly deceitful and have no problem exploiting the elderly!

"Inspired Living offers good care but has some issues"
We moved into Inspired Living because my wife needed help, and they were the only place with both assisted care and independent living in the same apartments. Since it’s a new place, there are some problems, but they should get fixed over time. The care staff do a very good job.

"Clean, spacious, and friendly assisted living facility with engaging activities."
The place was super clean and everyone we met was really nice and knew a lot. The rooms were bigger than we expected, and the bathrooms were really nice too. They have 'happy hour' on Fridays and lots of activities scheduled regularly. When we visited, most of the residents were just hanging out, but they all seemed well taken care of and tidy. We talked to a lady who was helping a memory patient not a worker there and she said she hadn’t heard any bad things about the place. Another person mentioned the 'spark' factor, which I agree with. But we were only there for an hour in the morning, so it might have been a quieter time. That’s why I gave it 4 stars it seemed really nice, but we didn’t get to see everything. If you’re looking for a place for someone you care about, it’s definitely worth checking out.

"Great facility with friendly staff, worth exploring for loved ones."
The place was super clean, and everyone we talked to was really nice and knew a lot. The rooms were way bigger than we expected, and the bathrooms were awesome. They even have this thing called 'happy hour' on Fridays and lots of activities. When we visited, the people who live there were just hanging out, but they all seemed taken care of. We talked to one lady who helps out with a person who has trouble remembering things, and she said nobody ever complains about the place. Someone else mentioned something about the place having a special vibe, which I totally agree with. But, we were only there for an hour in the morning, so maybe it was just a quiet time. That's why I'm giving it four stars – it looked really nice, but we didn't get to see everything. Still, it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place for someone you care about.

"Clean But Uninspiring Facilities May Fall Short for Some Families"
In the dementia care section, there's just a handful of private rooms; the rest are shared. The place is neat, tidy and visually pleasing. Yet, it felt rather business-like and utterly unexciting. There wasn't any real zest or rapport with the staff. So, I don't feel it would suit my family member the best.

"Beautiful Community with Great Activities"
My dad and his wife really liked staying here. The staff and administration were great. They fit in well and enjoyed the activities, especially Happy Hour and the entertainment. The community is beautiful. I'm sure they would still be there if they hadn’t moved to Arizona to be closer to family.

"Great Care and Positive Atmosphere for Mom"
I like the care and staff at this community. They’re nice and always help my mom. The community is clean and has a positive feel. The meals look good and she enjoys the variety. She can also join activities with other residents. We recommend this place for good care and value.

"Friendly, helpful nurse; locally owned, no vacancy when needed"
The nurse, , was really nice and helped us understand everything about the place. She even told us about a benefit for Veterans that could help with mom's care. It was cool that the person who showed us around was a nurse, not just someone trying to sell us stuff like other places. We could talk about what mom needed specifically. I also liked that this place is owned by people from around here. But they didn't have any room when we needed it for mom.

"Great Place for My Uncle!"
When we first moved my uncle into this place, he didn't seem like he wanted to be there. But after just a week, he was already settled in and happy. He always tells me how much he likes the people there. I'm glad we found him a good place!

"New, Clean Facility with Excellent Staff and Value"
This place is great! It’s new, clean, and has plenty of space. The location is convenient, and the staff and nurses are fantastic. Rocco, the COO of Paramount in Pittsburgh, is smart and understanding. It’s a really good value for the money. We think it's the best option.

"Lacking Courtyard and Spacious Rooms"
Everyone pays the same price, regardless of their level. The facility is all white and maze-like. Although it's relatively new, I was disappointed by the lack of a nice courtyard and the small rooms.
