"Center Promises but Fails to Provide Assisted Living"
At first, we were impressed by this assisted living center, but our good feelings disappeared fast. When our elderly loved one was recovering and we wanted to move her to long-term care or assisted living, one staff member told us she could stay in an assisted living spot. We were shown a studio apartment and even took some measurements to prepare. We were given the green light and even set a date to finalize everything. Suddenly, though, it all flipped. They told us she didn't qualify for the apartment anymore because she needed too much care. We were left stuck and she had to return home for care. The staff's communication was very poor and they did not provide the right information. I felt something sketchy was going on with the whole situation.

"Horrific Rehab Experience at Paul's Run Assisted Living Facility"
My mom had a fall and decided to go to Paul's Run, remembering her past experience recovering from a hip surgery. However, it seemed things there have plummeted badly within five years, especially the nursing staff. My mom was abandoned for hours, crying in her wheelchair from pain and they wouldn't even assist her to get into bed. Rest was really needed after her surgery. It appears the patients there don't earn any respect. It was only after I showed up that they helped her. The dining room server was very rude, causing additional tears on my mom's part. Not only that, they would just wheel her in and forget her. It's been a terrible experience. Still, the therapy is decent and the therapists were gentle. Apart from that, everything was just dreadful. They even put her in a diaper she didn't require and a terrible rash developed in her private parts due to the lack of cleanliness! I am devastated and angry about this place. I implore you not to send your loved ones here for rehab.

"Mixed Feelings About Aunt’s Care at Assisted Living"
My aunt chose Paul’s Run for rehab after her fall 9 months back. We were happy with the care and how things were run. Then, she moved into assisted living there, and things changed. They didn’t keep up with her appointments, from hearing checks to doctor visits to getting her hair done. Now, she’s back in rehab after another fall, and they’re still not on top of her schedule. Besides her physical therapy, it feels like they’re not looking after her other needs. There’s always some reason when something gets missed. I get that my aunt might not always be up for things, but these are key personal needs that are being overlooked. I’ll keep speaking up for her, but it’s tough when the staff doesn’t take care of the things we’ve set up. It’s leading to stress for us instead of the peace of mind Paul’s Run is supposed to give.

"Highly Recommend Paul's Run for Excellent Senior Care and Community"
My dad is doing well at Paul's Run. I used to work there and loved the community. Now I live in Texas, so I don't see him much. He says he loves the food they serve there. He's made friends and enjoys eating meals with them. He's very happy living there. It's nice and clean. The staff takes good care of him. They're friendly and helpful, making sure he takes his medicine on time. They have activities, and he's joined in. I'd recommend Paul's Run to friends and family.

"Disappointing Experience at Paul's Run Assisted Living Facility"
Paul's Run was where my aunt went for rehab after she fell nine months ago. We were pretty happy with the care, attention, and how things were organized. Later, we decided to move her into Paul's Run as a resident in assisted living. That's when things changed. The appointments that were supposed to be set up didn't happen. From her hearing aids to doctor visits to hair appointments, they just didn't get done. Now, after another fall, my aunt is back in the rehab section, and they're still not keeping up with appointments and other needs. Besides physical therapy, it feels like no one is looking after her. Whenever something is missed, there's always an excuse. I understand sometimes it might be because she's not motivated, but these are important things that should be taken care of. Instead, they're ignored. I'll keep advocating for my aunt, but when the staff doesn't follow through on what we've talked about, it's frustrating for both her and the family. It's not the comforting experience Paul's Run should provide.

"Improve Transition to Apartments"
Make the transition smoother. Moving into the apartment for my parents felt a bit challenging due to unfamiliarity with many things. It took a good two weeks to get settled in and set up cable and phone. Offering a little more service would be great.

"Think Twice Before Choosing Paul's Run for Rehab"
My dad was getting rehab at this place called Paul's Run. It's neat and tidy alright, but their rehab is kinda sketchy. The physical therapists just watch the clock, won't use their brains, and just follow some check-list. There aren't enough of them too. I tried touching base with the PT about my dad's wheelchair skills because he's recent lost a leg, but I got told by a social worker that they usually don't send folks home in wheelchairs. They asked my mom to look for long-term care but said they couldn't take him. It's just weird because getting a fake leg usually takes 1 or 1.5 years. So why did they take my dad from the hospital knowing they don't usually do the wheelchair thing? I wouldn't suggest Paul's Run for rehab. They even put my dad in diapers because they said going to the bathroom would take too long since he needs two people to help him.

"ABYSMAL REHAB AT PAUL'S RUN!"
Nice Spot, ATROCIOUS REHAB! My sister had a surgery and needed post-operation Physical Therapy (PT). They didn't pay her any mind that first weekend. After that, she got some half-hearted PT, basically shunned by the therapists and told to "follow the instructions on the sheet." She had to REQUEST help with the stairs. This weekend, they overlooked her once more, claiming only two therapists were available and other patients "needed therapy more urgently." This just delays her return to her everyday life and only boosts Paul's Run's profit margins. As someone who works in health-care, I can't suggest Paul's Run for rehab services.

"Total Disgust: Neglect and Mistreatment at Assisted Living Facility"
This place sucks big time! My great-aunt lived there for a while and they totally ignored her and treated her like dirt. In all my 53 years, I've never seen my aunt shed a tear until she was dumped at this joint. I work at a hospital and I used to think highly of this dump, but now I'll only spill the beans on how terrible they really are!!! We let her stay there for months, thinking maybe she needed time to adjust, but that was the biggest mistake we ever made as a family. I feel sick for letting my adorable aunt go through this. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, even my worst enemy! There was one chick there who actually looked after my aunt for real and I just want to meet her and say a big THANK YOU! My aunt can't shut up about how awesome she was; the only one who truly cared for her. But with her Alzheimer's, she doesn't remember her name, just her face. If she ever recalls her name, I'll make sure to tell her and treat her to a nice dinner. She's one of the few good genuinely caring people left in this world. I will NEVER vouch for this place ever again and I'll always hold a grudge against them for hurting my precious aunt!

"Friendly Staff in Large Facility, Challenging for Walkers"
The people we talked to were super nice. The building was really old and huge, so it might be tough for my mom to move around with her walker. But everyone we met was really friendly, and I felt good about them.

"Assisted Living Facility Feels Like a Hospital, Renovations Planned"
This assisted living facility feels more like a hospital. They're planning renovations. We weren't shown activity rooms. I liked the new approach, but I'm unsure about the price for what we saw.
