"Admission process needs improvement, high costs, and unclear roles"
I was a bit surprised that they didn’t ask more questions to get to know my mom when we admitted her. We had to tell them about her routine instead of them asking. It felt like they were just going to wing it, which worried me after helping my mom with her daily activities for the past few years. I think they could have a more organized admission process. Everyone is nice, but they didn’t seem very outgoing at first. Except for Iris, no one really introduced themselves right away. After four weeks, I still don’t know who is caring for my mom and what their roles are. My dad might feel differently. I think all these places are overpriced, making it hard to choose to move a family member there. If Phoebe’s wasn’t close to our home, we would have picked another place. It’s ridiculous to pay extra for incontinence products and laundry is so pricey.

"Great care and friendly staff, but pricey and pancake issues"
The people here are really nice, including both residents and staff. We did lose a few brand-new clothes, but the place is very clean. The direct nursing staff are fantastic, though the maintenance guys seem a bit grumpy. The care is excellent. The food is okay and the diet is fine, but the pancakes are awful. Our loved one has plenty to do and enjoys their time. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

"Dependable Care and Friendly Staff"
The staff at this place are really helpful but not in your face. They tell us about important things right away. In the 3 years my mother-in-law has been here, we haven't had any problems with the staff. Her room is always clean, and they take care of everything she needs regularly. The staff are so nice to her that when they have to bring in other nurses, she misses the usual ones.

"Spacious Apartments, Unimpressive Food Plan, Reasonable Costs, Boring Area"
The apartments have lots of space. But, I wasn't a fan of the meal plan. The costs seemed to be fair enough. Though, the area was pretty boring.
