"Options and Costs Vary Decent Choice for Assisted Living"
I liked that there were different room sizes available. This is one of my top two choices. The prices were a bit confusing and higher than I thought they would be. There isn't a fixed price; instead, there's a separate price for the room, another for medication management, and yet another for the level of care. I also need to find out if there's an annual increase in costs.

"Avoid: Poor Staffing and Resident Care at Assisted Living Facility"
This facility isn't suitable for people with medical needs. Staff are always quitting - they only last days, not months. If a resident cannot speak up for themselves, their room won't be cleaned, their laundry ignored and personal items vanish on day one. We had to keep replacing things, which cost us. Despite the fancy lobby, it's not a welcoming place for residents. For example, when my parent came back from a major surgery, no one even greeted him, despite the overly friendly sales team we met on our first day. Beds are not included - you have to rent one. The memory care part of the facility is locked, so my review only covers the assisted living part. I'm warning you, don't put anyone you care about in here unless you're indifferent towards them.

"False Promises and Negligence at Memory Care Facility"
This place is just a memory care bed & breakfast at best, and they aren't even good at that. My parent lost their clothes from the first day itself. If you have medical conditions, do not expect appropriate care here. The slightest health fluctuation could become a major crisis. The assistants here are absolutely miserable - any good ones find jobs elsewhere pretty quickly. The nurses are rude and unskilled. If you're unable to ask for help, they'll ignore you for days without cleaning or giving you fresh food and water. The promised on-site medical care is a sham. You have to beg to get a doctor and their supposed 'in-house' doctors (who are never actually around) never return calls. It isn't out of the ordinary for people to die waiting for their medications. Be warned: Staff turnover here is severe and the apathy is rampant. Do not trust this elegantly furnished nightmare with your loved ones.

"Sunrise Living Not Safe: Frequent Falls and Staff Turnover"
My mom and dad were living at Sunrise. We lost one of them within a month of moving there. The other one had to move to the memory care section. It wasn't completely terrible, but the biggest problem was that it wasn't safe. The staff in the memory care area changes all the time. My parent took a fall six times in a month and a half.

"Sunrise Assisted Living Refused Deposit Refund, Poor Communication"
My mom didn't move to Sunrise due to her dementia. We paid a $3K deposit but they wouldn't refund it when we told them she wasn't moving because her doctor wouldn't release her from the nursing and rehab center.

When I went to check out this place, it seemed really nice. The person who showed me around was friendly. They have some cool stuff available. But, my friend couldn't afford it.

"A Great Place for Loved Ones"
My wife stayed briefly at Sunrise Senior Living of Dresher. During her time there, the staff took good care of her, the food was tasty, and everything was clean. They also have extra things for residents if they want them. I think Sunrise Senior Living would be good for others too.

We took a nice tour of this place for my dad. The tour went well, and everyone was kind. Everything looked well-kept. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. We found another place that suited our needs better, but our tour here was nice.

Our experience with this community has been really good. The food is great, and the staff is very responsive. My sister is happy here. I do have a billing issue that we're trying to resolve. The price was a major factor in my decision. She doesn’t use the amenities much, but I was focused on comparing care and cost.

My mom is still getting used to the place. From what I've seen, the staff is nice and helpful. The place stays clean, and the food is really good. There are lots of activities for my mom once she feels settled.

"Very Welcoming Community"
We stayed at Sunrise of Dresher briefly for our loved one, and overall, they do a great job. The staff is friendly, supportive, and creates an uplifting environment for residents. Knowing our loved one was in a comfortable, safe place gave us peace of mind. Although there were some issues with communication between shifts and meal service, they’ve been cooperative in addressing them.

"A Happy Mother-in-Law and Excellent Care"
We were very happy with the care at this community for my mother-in-law. She enjoyed the different food options and joined many activities to stay active. The community was very clean, and the grounds were well-kept. The staff was excellent and always helpful. We highly recommend this community for anyone needing great care.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
It's kinda hard to explain, you know? Like, I really like it here, but then again, there are some things that bug me. They really need to get better at giving out meds on time, it's like they're always running late. And the food? It's getting better, but it still needs some work. And don't even get me started on the billing department, it's just plain confusing. But besides those things, I'm pretty happy with everything else. The place feels cozy, and I felt at home right when I walked in. The staff and other people living here are super nice and friendly. I think with the new bosses, they'll fix the stuff that needs fixing.

"Unimpressive Staff at This Sunrise Facility"
I visited many other Sunrise homes, I dropped by at this one unexpectedly. The receptionist saw me, but didn't bother to look up. It took a full for anyone to greet me or ask if they could help. Compared to the awesome care I got at the Sunrise in Blue Bell, this was a real letdown. That was enough for me to cross this place off my list.
