"Better Communication Needed at Sunrise Facility"
Overall, I’d recommend the Sunrise facility. Like all places, there are some things they could improve. Staffing is a challenge everywhere, but Sunrise tries their best. My main suggestion is better coordination of medical care. The nursing team should be clearer about working with residents’ doctors. Right now, families often have to handle communication about physician orders.

"Excellent Assisted Living Community with Friendly Atmosphere and Great Events"
My family member lives at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The Nurse Director and the Head Director are great! It's a really friendly and caring place to live. They have awesome events for everyone. The food is really good. I think other people should consider this place.

"Cheerful Atmosphere with Friendly Staff and Great Music"
They should offer options for people who don’t eat meat. Besides that, it was good. The staff is really friendly and nice. The music was very good! Everyone's outfits looked pretty and cute; there were lots of people. Everyone was dancing, partying, and having a good time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Have a happy, happy, happy, happy holiday!

"Mixed Feelings About Sunrise of Lafayette Hill Assisted Living"
Sunrise of Lafayette Hill is an okay-sized place for older folks. People there are nice to each other and to the staff. It feels cozy. They're trying to make things better, which is good. Most of the staff and residents are friendly. The food is alright, but the dining experience could be better.

"Great Visit, Second Choice"
We visited this place on Thursday. It's really close to our home in Lafayette Hill, PA. The salesperson was amazing. Although it's our second choice for temporary care, especially for Mom's memory care, it's still an option.

"Adjusting to Care, Finding Comfort in Community"
My uncle’s been having a tough time settling in, and we’re still waiting for the folks in charge to set up his second check-up to figure out the care he needs. He can mostly take care of himself, like taking his medicine, but he needs some help from the team when it’s time to get ready for bed. The staff’s been super nice and helpful, always cheering him on. He’s happy to hang out with the other people living here during meals, and he really enjoys spending time outside on the porch, chatting with friends. We’re going step by step and making progress.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Community"
We stayed here for a short time. Overall, it's a nice place. The staff was kind and friendly. The community was well-kept. They have good activities for the residents. It didn’t work out for us, but I would recommend it.

"Not quite enough!"
I visited this community for a tour. The staff was nice and helped us explore. But I didn’t feel it was right for my loved one. It didn’t match up to other places.

"Better Medical Support Needed"
The people who take care of my husband at the assisted living facility don't seem to know how to help him with his health issues. Even though my husband seems fine and content there, I've had some problems with how they handle his medical needs. They're not really sure how to deal with his specific health problems.

"Nice Place for Consideration"
We visited this place while deciding on care for a family member. It looked really nice and was on our list of options. However, Sunrise was a bit smaller than what we wanted for my parents, and it was less convenient to drive to. So, we chose a different community.

"Needs Full-Time Nurse for Resident Care"
The facility seemed okay, but I was worried because there wasn’t always a nurse around. People living there sometimes had to go somewhere else to get the help they needed.

"Great Care and Independence at Sunrise"
From the moment Mom arrived at Sunrise, she was welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. At first, she struggled with the change to senior living and felt like she was losing her independence which I was told is a common feeling. She said, I took care of myself for over 90 years, and now you/they think I can't do anything on my own. The staff worked with her to show that they wanted her to keep her independence and individuality. They are there to help when she needs it. We are thrilled with her care and how involved she is in activities. The staff listens to suggestions from residents and tries to make sure everyone feels heard and involved in their own lifestyle. My brothers and I believe Mom is in a wonderful place, happy, and safe. I have recommended Sunrise of Lafayette Hill to many people and will keep doing so.

"Assisted Living Review: A Better Place for Mom"
When my mom had to move again, we chose Sunrise Lafayette Hill through A Place for Mom. It's close to her Power of Attorney, and they even have a smoking room she can use a few times a day. At 88, it's important to us that she can still enjoy this. Compared to the fancier place she was in before, Sunrise is much more engaging for the residents. The aides here really interact and encourage everyone to join in activities regularly. The other place felt isolating, with less enthusiasm from the staff. Sunrise feels like home and allows mom to age with dignity.

"Mixed Impressions: New Facility, Smaller Rooms"
The facility looks new, and the rooms are a bit smaller than Brandywine, but they come with a kitchenette. It’s farther away than I’d prefer, and I wasn’t shown where advanced patients live. Brandywine was more transparent during their tour.
