"Nice sales person, but older building was a downside"
We toured Sunrise of Lower Makefield and liked the sales person. But the building was older and reminded me of another place my Dad didn't like. Still, out of all the places we looked at, it was probably our second choice.

"Friendly Atmosphere and Good Amenities"
I like the feel of this place. That's why we picked it. They have nice outdoor spots and many places to sit. The staff are really nice and caring. It's mostly clean, though not perfect. She enjoys the food and gets plenty to eat.

"Mixed Feelings About Sunrise Assisted Living for Memory Care"
We visited Sunrise for a tour. The place was nice, but too expensive for us. We prefer a community focused solely on memory care.

"Loved One Enjoyed Meals Visits Pleasant Despite Covid Restrictions"
Our family member liked the food at the community, but due to COVID rules, we couldn't fully experience it. When we could visit, they made it nice and ensured we stayed connected.

"Beautiful, caring facility with minor dining inconvenience"
This is a great place for older adults. The facility is lovely, well-maintained, and the staff is very caring. Even though Mom’s stay was short (she passed away after 6 weeks), our family felt welcomed, and Mom always said, "Everyone is so nice!" However, joining your loved one for a meal can feel awkward. You have to buy a ticket at the front desk, which is less private than other places where the meal is added to the resident’s bill. Overall, it’s a top-notch home for affluent older people.

"Need Improvement in Assisted Living Payment Process"
So, things are going fine, but there's a bit of a problem with how they handle payments. Our bill ended up being twice as much as expected, with some extra charges added on. The first bill was way higher than we thought it would be, in the thousands! They're looking into it now and fixing it after we talked about how this wasn't what we agreed on.

"Resort-like community, nice staff, but pricey for services."
The community felt like a vacation spot. It was clean and the people working there were friendly. However, it was quite expensive considering the help my family member required.

"Friendly and Caring Staff, Nice Facility, Awaiting Resolution"
During the tour, everyone was friendly and staff greeted us warmly. Now that my parent is a resident, I still see that the staff is caring and friendly. The facility is nice compared to others we visited, but it's expensive. Waiting for resolution on a missing item before updating this review. Overall, it's a very nice place.

"Not a very clean community!"
While visiting this community, I noticed that the place wasn't well-maintained and not very clean. There was also a bad smell throughout the building, which I wouldn't want my loved one to experience every day. However, the staff was kind and gave a good tour of their community.

"Staff's Poor Attitudes Taint Facility Atmosphere"
When my mom lived at this place, I didn't like it much. The staff, all the way from the main boss to the helpers, didn't seem to care about their jobs. It felt like they were there just for the money, and it made the place not very pleasant.

"Community Connection"
Sunrise is a beautiful place. When you step inside, you’ll notice that the layout encourages a sense of community. All the activity rooms are grouped together, which makes it easy for people to connect when they see each other in one big area. The only downside for me was the distance. If it’s not very close, my mom would see less of me.

"Wonderful, Caring Staff"
My mom is in the memory care section, so I can only talk about that part. I don't know much about the rest. The staff working with the residents are amazing. They really care about them and work hard. There are lots of activities, depending on what each person needs.

"No Real Negatives Despite Distance"
When I took the tour, there were no real negatives. The only issue, like Spring Village at Floral Vale, is that it's a bit far away, but it's not a deal breaker.

"Basic amenities but limited assistance with personal care."
This place gives you three meals every day, they do your laundry and clean your room, and they help you with one shower every week. But if you need more help, you have to move to a different part of the facility.
