"Great Place with Room for Improvement"
The facility has big windows in the common living room and a nice veranda for sitting outside when the weather is good. It’s also great that they have a beautician on site once a week. The activities director is awesome. Improvements: Sometimes, especially on weekends, there’s a strong urine smell. Maybe cleaning services aren’t available on weekends? Some aides are more careful than others with making the bed properly and keeping Mom’s clothes organized in her closet.

"Misleading Promises and Disappointing Amenities at Assisted Living Facility"
I heard they had exciting trips and activities, but only assisted living folks get them, not us in memory care. They took over the Hillside restaurant, promising gourmet food, but it's not true. When our food arrives, it's ice cold. Many promises they made aren't kept.

"New Management Turns Facility into Rigorous Institution"
After they sold it and brought in a new Executive Director, this place has become a total mess. The new people running it have transformed it into a jail-like setting. They no longer respect the residents' preferences or rights! The rules now are super strict and they don't let you challenge the management at all!

"Hillside Assisted Living: A Home Full of Care and Activity"
The staff loves working and interacting with residents. You can see this not just in their words but in their daily actions. The kitchen offers many choices at each meal and even honors special requests. The nursing staff is attentive, and the free shuttle bus to appointments is invaluable. The administration is kind, caring, and always thinking of new ways to make each day special. The rooms are spacious with full baths. The Activity Director works full-time, providing a well-balanced calendar of unique and interesting activities for both mind and body, including weekly shuttle bus trips.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Tour"
We visited this place, and I could tell from outside that it wasn't good for my family. It looked gloomy inside, and it didn't feel welcoming. Plus, they only offer rooms, not apartments. It wasn't what we wanted.

"Simply Not The Right Fit, Too Gloomy!"
We visited this center for a look around and before we could even step inside, I realized it wasn't suitable for my family member. The environment was gloomy and saddening. Something felt off. Plus, everyone had to stay in single rooms, there weren't any apartment options. It just didn't sit right with us.

We’ve been really happy with Hillside Assisted Living! The place looks nice, and the staff are all great. Everyone is friendly and does a good job taking care of the residents. My only worry is that they don’t have any doctors on staff.
