"Understaffed and Unfair Dismissals at The Pines of Mt. Lebanon"

The Pines of Mt. Lebanon needs more workers. They let go of a good worker for no good reason. Based on what we've seen, we might tell other families about this place.

"Facility Improvements Shine After Staff Changes"

First, I wasn't too thrilled with the facility and staff. But over the past 6 months, things have gotten better. Some staff changes have actually improved things.

"Nice Staff, But Needs More Help and Better Care"

The staff was always there but didn’t really help much. We chose this place because they had room for us and they gave short-term care when needed. Everyone was super friendly, but they didn’t have enough people working. The person who fixes things was gone, so it was tough when stuff broke. My family member sometimes didn’t get their medicine for a few days, and they missed their weekly bath too. The place looked really cozy and welcoming. They tried to make things work for us.

"Mixed Feelings: Welcoming Atmosphere but Lack of Organization and Care"

My family member feels welcomed there, which is nice. But they really need to be more organized and show more care. We chose this place because it's not too expensive, in a good spot, we were promised good care, and I heard the food was fantastic!

"Pleased with Care, but Communication Lacked"

My family member had a good time. The people working there were super kind and looked after her well when I wasn't there. They just need to tell families that there aren't any TVs for short stays. I had to rush to get one, which made me pretty upset.

"Caring Staff and Creative Activities in Small Assisted Living Facility"

The facility is small, so the staff knows my loved one's name. They respect his preferences. The activities director is great. She plans many different activities that appeal to everyone. I worry they don't have enough staff on weekends. It's frustrating that we sometimes have to wait for a nurse to unlock the door during the day on weekends and at lunch on weekdays. Sometimes my loved one waits too long for nursing help, especially at night and on weekends. There have been times he needed housekeeping and no one was available. These problems usually happen at night and on weekends. The staff have tried to get to know me and are always friendly and helpful.

"Struggling Staff, High Prices: Assisted Living Review"

They don't have enough staff, and their prices are too high for what they provide. But the staff who are there work really hard to do their best.

"Disappointing Tour Experience at The Pines Assisted Living"

We went for a tour at The Pines, but the person who was supposed to show us around wasn't there. Someone else gave us the tour. The place seemed old and didn't meet my expectations. It was also pricier and not conveniently located.

"Assisted Living Facility: Mixed Experience, Needs Improvement"

Sometimes they forget to help her bathe or change clothes. But they have fun activities and encourage residents to stay active. You need to stay informed about what's happening there and not just assume they'll follow through each week.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

Sometimes, the people who work here don’t talk well with families. It’s hard to find help when you need it. What you thought at first isn’t what you get in the end.

"Underwhelming Assisted Living Facility Tour"

Our family visited this place and the tour was just okay. The community felt gloomy, small, and not friendly. It didn't feel inviting.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs More Staff for Improvement"

I think this place might not have enough workers, but otherwise it's alright. There's room to make things better. The workers there are okay, but sometimes they take too long to respond for some reason.

"Virtual Tour Experience at The Pines of Mt. Lebanon"

We took a virtual tour of The Pines of Mt. Lebanon. The tour was good, but it was difficult to really understand everything because it was all on video.
