"Issues with Staff Hygiene and Behavior at Assisted Living Facility"
My grandma's been at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill since January. She likes the activities and making new friends. But, there've been some problems. Staff aren't washing their hands before handling food. Also, some staff have been mean when taking care of my grandma.

"Potential New Home for Dad in November"
My Dad isn't at the Terrace yet, but we visited recently. The staff and residents talked to each other, the staff seemed steady, there were activities and therapy, and it was clean.

"Caring and Friendly Staff; Aunt Thrives Despite Challenges"
I really like The Terrace at Chestnut Hill. Everyone is nice and always ready to help. I trust the staff to take good care of my aunt, and she seems to be doing well given her situation.

"Great value, food needs improvement."
I definitely recommend them, but the food could be better. Great price for the money, though. They have a diverse population, clean, big rooms, good care, and a great overall price.

"Location Matters in Assisted Living"
It's an okay place. If my dad gets better, I'd let him return. People were nice and seemed to care about everyone. We chose it because of the location.

"Caring and Clean Assisted Living Gets Our Recommendation"
My family and our loved one liked this place a lot. The people who work there are nice, caring, and ready to help. Everyone is friendly. When we visit, the place is clean. The staff really look after the people who live there, and they spend time getting to know each person well. Overall, we think other people should consider this place for their loved ones.

"Older Facility with Welcoming Staff, But Dark and Cramped Spaces"
We toured The Terrace at Chestnut Hill in person and liked the person who showed us around. However, the place itself seemed old, worn-out, dark, and cramped, so it wouldn't be ideal for our loved one.

"Pretty Bad Living Conditions, Not Recommended"
My family member said this place was "terrible" and I agree. They found roaches in the building. There was also an instance where they were left in the restroom for way too long. They have music as an activity but nothing that challenges the brain. Few of the staff are nice; others are very rude. I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone!

"Poor Care and Negligence at Terrace of Chestnut Hill"
My mom stayed at Terrace of Chestnut Hill and it wasn't great. Her feet got so puffy for over a month that she couldn't even wear shoes. Plus, no foot doctor saw her in the nearly four months she was there, and her toenails grew super long. I also saw another resident fall. The staff just lifted her off the floor and put her back in her chair. They didn't even write a report about it.

"Review: Neglected hygiene, missing belongings, false promises, poor expectations."
They never bothered to clean. They consistently allowed her to run out of toilet paper, her clothes kept disappearing. Even though they promised a daily schedule of activities before we agreed to it, there wasn't anything to do. They unfairly expected those with memory problems to speak up for their own needs. It was just awful.

"Communication Issues and Meal Problems Plague Assisted Living Facility"
The people in charge don't talk well with the health workers. The food situation is all over the place and not steady. Sometimes, the folks living there don't even get to eat.

"Mixed feelings about understaffing and food quality, overall recommendable."
They don't have enough staff, but the ones they do have are nice. My family member doesn't like the food, but otherwise, she's okay. They don't really push people to join activities. The place is clean thanks to housekeeping and laundry services. I might tell my family and friends to check it out.

"Friendly staff, clean facility, kitchen issues, understaffed for meals."
The folks here are really nice. The place is super clean. But, they're having some trouble in the kitchen. They don't have enough staff, so my loved one isn't always getting the food they want.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Care and Communication Concerns"
This place has some problems with taking care of residents. It takes too long for someone to respond when you ring the call bell. Once, my family member fell out of bed and had to go to the emergency room, but they didn't tell us about it like they said they would. They're not good at communicating about medical stuff either. And sometimes they don't handle medical issues the right way.
