The staff in memory care are caring, kind, helpful, and understanding. The activities get the residents involved. We like that they encourage communication. Moving in was easy. The food is good. My spouse’s room is okay. Overall, I would recommend The Woods at Cedar Run for memory care residents.”

"Well-Kept Facility with Friendly Staff and Beautiful Grounds"
We visited The Woods at Cedar Run while looking for an Assisted Living place for my loved ones. Although the facility was older, it was kept in good shape. The outside areas were lovely and peaceful. The staff was very warm and friendly. During the tour with my parents, they gave us lunch in the café and packed meals for my parents to take home. I would suggest this facility to others as a good choice.

"Assisted Living Facility Shines During Pandemic Challenges"
They did a great job keeping us safe during the Pandemic. They had a good plan to handle any COVID 19 cases. The food stayed good even during the pandemic. It felt like everything bad happened, but the staff stayed strong and did a good job.

My mom fell twice after coming back from the hospital. First, she broke her neck, then her pelvis and hip. They never checked on us during her time away. It was a nightmare. It changed her life, and she passed away.

Our family visited The Woods At Cedar Run in person, and it quickly became our favorite community. However, we heard that they sometimes don't hold residents' rooms when they go to the hospital, which made us hesitate.

"Mixed Experience with Staff and Pet-Friendly Community"
This place has been okay for us overall. There are some issues, possibly due to being short-staffed. The community is nice, and the staff are friendly. It would be great to have more experienced caregivers who also love cats and dogs. They allow pets for residents. Unfortunately, there have been times when I asked staff to check on my loved one, but there was no follow-through after I raised it with management.

"Caring and Convenient Assisted Living Experience"
The Woods at Cedar Run is a really nice place. The staff there are so friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly care about the residents. They all know my name. In the dining room, they keep track of whether you are there or not. If you don't show up, they will call and check on you. They even have physical therapy on-site. They offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The apartments are really nice. We chose a room on the 3rd floor so that when my wife needs assisted living, we won't have to move again. The setting is also very beautiful.

"Nice facility with laundry service issues costly without included amenities."
The Woods at Cedar Run is a nice place to live. Our main issue was they don't wash residents' clothes, so we'd need to pick them up and do it ourselves every week. Plus, it cost more than we expected, so we felt they should have included that service in the price.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We took both my parents for a tour here. I told them we needed 2 wheelchairs. But when we arrived, they made us wait 20 extra minutes to find the second one. It made me worry about what else they might forget.

Our family took an in-person tour, and it was great. Everyone we met was super nice. But, the rooms available were too small for our loved one’s needs.

"Location Not Ideal"
We took a virtual tour of The Woods at Cedar Run. The place looked great, and the tour was well done. But, unfortunately, the location wasn't very convenient for our family.
