"Inadequate Care and Security Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
My grandpa stayed at this assisted living home. Sadly, the promises made to us about his care weren't kept. They said they would check on him every two hours, but I would be there for seven or eight hours straight on the weekends and didn't see that happening. They noted down that they gave him his medicine, but I was there and they didn't give him any. It seems like this place doesn't have enough staff and doesn't really prioritize the residents' wellbeing. If a resident refuses something, like food or a shower, the staff just makes a note and moves on. This doesn't seem right, cause the resident might go without eating or drinking, and nothing is done about it. Also, basic care wasn't given. They ignored his dangerously low blood pressure, pneumonia symptoms, and bed sores. It's important to know that there are no doctors or nurses working on the weekends. They only have "med techs" who are supposed to give out medicine, but don't always do it on time. Also, the property has multiple entrances that aren't secure. Anyone can park and walk in without talking to anyone. And folks can wander around or go into rooms without having to prove why they're there. They have a place to sign in near the entrances but nobody says anything if you walk right past it. I would suggest visiting and looking around for yourself. The outside looks good, but the care there isn't up to par and I think it's inhumane.

"Mixed Feelings: Assisted Living Facility Tour Experience"
I visited this place, and it didn't feel happy. They were fixing it up while I was there. The people working there were nice and helpful, though. The person showing me around knew it wasn't looking great.
