"Disappointing Communication: Missed Opportunities in Assisted Living Facility"
We really liked the place, but they said they'd call back after my visit to check if they had a room available. They never did. Then, I scheduled a visit for my Dad with my brother and an evaluation by a nurse. But, the nurse wasn't there. When my dad called, they promised to call back, but they didn't. They tried calling his cell phone, which was strange because he hardly ever turns it on, and we don't know how they got the number. Overall, they didn't follow up well, and we lost the chance to persuade my dad to move. We still think it's a nice, social place, though.

"Mixed Experience at Woodbourne Place Assisted Living Facility"
This place was okay for a temporary stay. But we’re moving to a cheaper place. They didn’t tell us the final cost upfront, which was frustrating. The daily rate seemed reasonable, but extra fees added up fast. When we realized the total, Mom was already settled in, and we were stuck. She needed special care after surgery, and we were hoping for a short-term recovery place, but it ended up being too pricey. After 12 weeks, we found a better option that costs almost half as much. If you have a lot of money to spare, Woodbourne Place might be okay. The staff were nice, but we heard they might be leaving because the company was bought out.

"Small and Cramped Assisted Living - 3 Star Review"
We went to see Woodbourne Place. We liked the staff. But, it felt too small inside, so we chose elsewhere.

"Avoid Woodbourne Place: Poor Experience, Read Contracts Carefully"
I really didn't like Woodbourne Place at all. Before signing any contracts, you should double-check and make sure you fully understand what you're signing. Based on what we went through, I advise people not to choose this facility.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility tour experience"
I visited this place for a tour. It looks pretty old and feels more like a nursing home than an assisted living facility. The person showing us around that day didn't know much and couldn't answer our questions well. But the regular tour guide later contacted me, offering help and answers.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
The everyday helpers and aides were great; they gave it their all. Yet, it was clear they were short on medical staff. They should’ve done more for the folks living there, but at least they made sure our family member was bathed and tidy. Our real problem was with the office folks. It seemed like they weren’t telling us everything about the costs. Every bill looked different, and that bothered us.

"Welcoming Community"
Our loved one recently moved to Woodbourne Place. It’s a smaller community, which we appreciate because it allows for more one-on-one connections with residents. The staff is friendly, caring, and easy to communicate with. The food is good, with well-balanced meals and variety. They offer plenty of activities, including transportation for shopping trips and outings. Outdoors, the landscaping is well-kept, and they recently hosted a fun “Grandparents Day.”

"Warm Visit"
This place was one of our favorite choices for my mother-in-law's needs. Even though she chose another place, we had a really good tour here. The people working there were really nice and they answered all our questions. Everything went smoothly, and I think anyone should check out this place.

"Pricey but Professional"
During my visit, I thought this place was too expensive. When we met, they were straightforward about the price. No need to tour further. They were professional and okay during the meeting.

"Great Community with Lots of Activities, but Too Expensive"
We liked this community. It was newer and had less wear and tear. I liked how they had staff in the evening. They offer a lot of activities, which is wonderful. They did not have a library. Unfortunately, they are too expensive for us.

"Mom Likes the Meals and Enjoys the Outings"
The care for my mom has been pretty good. She seems to like the meals they provide. There are activities and outings for the residents, and she has been on a few of them and had a good time. It's a smaller facility.

"Upset Over Poor Cleanliness and No Housekeeping"
My aunt stayed here for six years. Her room was constantly filthy, and the bathroom was even more dreadful. The facility seemed to lack any form of cleaning services in the resident's individual rooms.

"Friendly and helpful staff; good value for money."
The staff here is really helpful. It's worth the money. When we started, we didn't know much about this. They taught us and helped us decide. That was really important. They tell us about any problems quickly. My father-in-law thinks the food is okay. Everything's going smoothly. I'd tell anyone to try Woodbourne Place. They're nice and helpful.

We visited this place when we were considering care options for a family member. Woodbourne Place seemed really nice overall! The facility was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly. Although we didn’t choose it initially, it’s high on my list if I need to find assisted living for another loved one.

"Mom's care at Woodbourne Place"
My mother lives at Woodbourne Place. It's a good fit for her. She gets three wholesome meals a day, and her medicine is managed well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only things that need improvement are apartment cleaning and more activities for the residents. I rate it fair to good. Thank you.

"Mixed Feelings About Woodbourne Place Assisted Living Facility"
I think Woodbourne Place is a nice community. It's clean and well-maintained, and the staff are really friendly. But they don't have enough people working there. The staff they do have are great and work hard, but there aren't enough of them to take care of everyone properly. Some residents' needs get ignored or aren't taken care of.

"Assisted living excels in care, food, and cleanliness for mom."
My mom's assisted living place is great. The people who work there are really nice and helpful. They make sure my mom has everything she needs and they're always there for her. They let her choose what she wants to eat, which is awesome because she has some specific dietary needs. And the place is always clean, which is important for her health. It seems like everyone who works there really cares about making sure my mom has a good life.
