"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Sometimes slow to respond, but felt secure. Parents might stay.

"Disappointing Visit to Outdated, Unpleasant Facility"
Right away, I knew it wasn’t even close to what I expected. From the moment I stepped in for a look around, I didn’t like it. The place was gloomy, had a bad smell, and it was a really long walk just to get to where we eat. Everything felt old-fashioned and just couldn’t stack up to the other place I saw.

"Pleasant Place, Not the Right Match for Family"
The community is nice, but it didn’t seem like the perfect place for my family member.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living"
We think they're really good at paying attention to our loved ones' needs. But sometimes, their lack of organization can be a problem when communicating with the nursing team. You have to stay on top of things.

"Nice, older community, lacks memory care unit"
We toured a nice, older community with friendly staff and good food. However, it lacked a memory care unit, so it didn't meet our needs.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Nice, well-kept community. Residents relaxed. Staff cares about community. Sales staff kind, not pushy. Common areas cozy. Bathrooms safe. Rooms offer autonomy, help nearby if needed.

"Brookdale South Bay: Great Visit, Slightly Farther from Home"
My visit to Brookdale South Bay was great. The lady I met shared helpful info and answered my questions. It's a good community, but not as close to home as others.

"Dedicated Staff and Clean Environment, Food Service Needs Improvement"
The staff at this place really try their best to make everything work smoothly. Sometimes they need to improve how they bring you the food you ask for. Besides that, I haven't had any issues with anything. The place is neat, and my room is clean too.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Activities and Engagement"
The activities were few. It was alright. It felt somewhat like a hospital. It was tidy and looked nice, but often quiet like a morgue, with little happening besides meals. They were good at meeting needs in a friendly, professional way.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Dementia Care"
My aunt's first home. She fell and got agitated due to dementia. They asked her to leave because of her behavior. It's sad because she's usually sweet. Everywhere else has its problems too. Some staff really care, but they couldn't meet her needs.
