"Chosen for dementia care, activities, amenities, and atmosphere"
We chose this community for its dementia care support and activities. Smaller staff-to-resident ratio, more amenities, reasonable rates, open and bright atmosphere.

"Nice Place with Good Care, But Some Issues"
We chose this place after looking at a few others because it was more reasonable. We liked the layout, the staff, and how clean it was. The campus is very beautiful and pleasant. They were good at communicating and got back to us quickly. However, there was a time when my mom had a doctor's appointment we canceled, but they still took her, and no one went with her, which could have been dangerous. Overall, the care was good, and we were satisfied. She had a fall and went to the hospital, and when she came back, they felt they didn't have enough supervision, so we had to move her. If it weren't for that fall, she would still be here. I would recommend them to others looking.

"Wonderful care and friendly staff, plus fun activities for parents"
The whole staff at Wingate is super friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the aides and nurses. They are amazing! My parents have been here for almost a year, and we are very happy with the care they get. The staff is really flexible, and we've built a great team for my parents' care. Mom and Dad take part in activities all day, love the music (they even dance!), and enjoy socializing with other residents in the nice dining area.

"Quality Care in New Management: Assisted Living Excellence"
Moving my mom here was a much better choice. This memory care community has everything we needed for her care. They have trained staff who handle her outbursts and paranoia well. Recently under new management, they are professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. They've fulfilled their promises in caring for my mom. The community is clean and odor-free, and residents appear well cared for.

"Considered This Home, Chose The Highlands Instead"
I shared my thoughts on another part of this website. There’s a kind gentleman here and the place feels welcoming. I thought about staying here but ended up picking The Highlands in the end.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Affordable and Convenient Assisted Living with Some Confusion"
I talked with Bob. We like this place because it's not too expensive and offers all types of care in one area. There's also a shared kitchen for residents to use if they want. What's confusing is that Bob wasn't sure if they take Medicaid. Hollis said they do. I'm not sure why there's a mix-up there. A friend from her building lives here now. M knows a few people who live there and like it.
