"Facility Misleads Residents About Meals and Housekeeping"
This spot tricked me with a bait and switch. During my initial visit, they handed me pamphlets saying we'd get meals, cleaning, and fun events. But all the people living here got a note saying no more cleaning after and only one meal a day. I never knew about that and moved in with a signed agreement thinking I'd get two meals daily and someone would clean. Turns out, all of that was untrue. Don't stay here. I'm leaving at the end of April. Watch out.

"Avoid This Care Home: Neglect and Rude Management"
This care home is always short on staff. The meals are not good at all. It seems like the people in charge don't really care about the workers or the folks living there. I'm telling you, it's not a good place for someone you love. About two months back, I checked the place out, and I have a buddy whose mom lives there. Just a few weeks ago, I was there and couldn't get any help for my buddy's mom. She was all wet and smelled like pee really bad. Her room was stinky like a bathroom, and the carpet? Super dirty. And good luck trying to call them—they won't pick up. We visited my friend's mom recently, and she was dirty again. We tried talking to the boss, but she was just mean. She made it seem like we did something wrong. Please, don't let anyone you care about stay in that place.

"Neglected Mill Creek Seniors Face Infestation and Unfair Rent Increase"
Mill Creek Senior Living's management needs to take action. This place is not clean and always smells like pee. The independent living units are full of roaches, and spiders, and there's even water damage and mold. Even though people mention these problems, the people in charge say there's nothing they can do. Because the people in charge didn't handle things like they said they would, we decided to hire a professional cleaner and a pest control company. What they found was crazy. I'm talking about more than 1000 bugs in the house - roaches everywhere, even laying eggs in places like electrical outlets, behind mirrors, and more. Anything we were asked not to open when we moved in was just crawling with bugs. This forced us to throw away a lot of our things, even food. This whole nasty situation has been going on for over a year, and nothing's changed even though people keep saying it will. On top of that, they broke the deal we had and increased our rent, even though they haven't done anything about the problems in the place. Why should our seniors have to carry around bug spray just to walk around their own homes? That just isn't right.

"Affordable, welcoming assisted living"
A PLACE FOR MOM was super friendly and helped us find a great place for Mom. We chose it because of the cost, and it was welcoming.

"Decent Assisted Living with Budget Considerations"
My family member lives at Mill Creek Manor, and it’s been okay. Some staff are great, but two are rude. The food is good, but they’ve served something my loved one is allergic to. Overall, it’s a decent facility, better for those on a budget.

"Dad's Place: Mixed Feelings at Mill Creek Manor"
If a buddy wanted to know how things are at Mill Creek Manor (Independent Living), I'd tell them the place looks nice and my dad's apartment is cozy. He likes chatting with his neighbors. But he's not too thrilled because he doesn't like the food or the people who cook it, so he won't eat there. Right now, he's checking out other options.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The tour guide was nice, but they didn’t have a room right away. The facility wasn’t great, and I was more impressed by the security system at another place.

"Staffing turnover impacts quality. Business model limits improvement potential."
The staff changes a lot, even more than during COVID. I think it's because of a mix of reasons. The economy and COVID play a part, but also, they try to keep prices fair. They're likely doing their best without making fees much higher.

"Smaller Community, Active Loved One"
Our family visited this community in person and liked it. However, because it's smaller, we were concerned about the limited activities for our active loved one.

"Lacking Care: Avoid This Place"
They didn’t feed my family member, and sometimes they weren’t clean. Not enough staff. The residents didn’t get proper care. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The tour was okay, but there’s no family sitting area outside residents’ rooms. Staff could be friendlier.

"Neglected and Lost: Mill Creek Manor Fails Loved Ones"
We checked out Mill Creek for memory care for my dad. I'm writing this review to potentially save others from the expensive, stressful mistake we made. My father's needs were neglected - he didn't receive showers, his bed was constantly unmade and he misplaced lots of items, even though they all had his name marked on them. We had to specifically request that his laundry be done. We saw all this first-hand because we visited daily. In two weeks, he was rushed to the emergency room three times, and on one occasion, the staff thought he was with us and they had misplaced him! Mill Creek Manor's memory care was truly dreadful. I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend anyone to put their loved ones here. We decided to remove him after just two short weeks. Following an awful first weekend of lost items and emergency room visits, we had a meeting with the board and voiced our worries. They said there would be improvements, but there were absolutely no changes. Please, I implore you not to put your loved ones in this facility!

"Understaffed memory care; not the right fit."
Mill Creek Manor was alright. The tour lady was nice. But, I worried about staff shortage in memory care. Others shared similar experiences. Not suitable for our loved one.

"Happy Choice for Dad at Mill Creek Manor Assisted Living"
We picked Mill Creek Manor because they have a nice place for people who can do a lot on their own. Dad stays in a 2-bedroom apartment that’s a good size, and they provide all his meals. Dad really likes the food they serve; he says there are lots of different things to eat. We are for sure pleased with our decision.

"Satisfactory Visit"
The people who worked here did a good job showing me around for my brother. They took their time and made sure to answer all my questions. The part where they care for people with memory issues was good, but I think my brother would be better in the part where they help more. That part was nice too. This place had a lot of good things to offer.

"A Friendly, Clean, and Fun Place to Live"
I really like this place. The staff is friendly, and the community is clean and well-kept. The meals are good, and she loves that she can cook in her own apartment. There are lots of activities and trips available too. We would suggest this place to other families looking for a caring and good-value community.

"Consider this community for a warm atmosphere and great food."
During the tour, this place seemed well-managed. But, it didn't seem like residents got enough supervision. They have a chef who knows what they're doing, and the sales director was nice. However, it's pricier than what we wanted. Also, it didn't feel as open and bright as the one we picked.

"Comfortable stay, needed more care and cost-effective move"
This place was nice while we stayed. Everything went fine. Later, we needed more help, and money became an issue, so we had to go. But overall, it was a nice community. I didn't have any worries while I was here.
