"Needs Improvement in Personal Care and Communication"
The staff is really nice. I think they should make sure she takes baths and changes her clothes more regularly. I also want updates on her behavior every couple of weeks to know if anything's wrong or different.

"Atria Mount Pleasant Offers Great Staff and Activities"
Atria Mount Pleasant is a pretty place with great staff, food, and activities. The management communication isn’t perfect, but they’re responsive when you find the right person. It’s a bit confusing here, even after months. You need to be proactive during move-in; they don’t offer much help. Despite that, the staff is kind and willing, but the organization could be better. We’ve used excellent rehab and caregiver services. Overall, I’d recommend Atria Mount Pleasant with 4 out of 5 stars.

"Friendly Staff, Mixed Amenities"
The staff is friendly, but the food is terrible. It's often cold and served buffet-style. They're also dealing with staffing issues. On the bright side, activities are well-done. My loved one's one-bedroom apartment has a full kitchen, a den with a big window, and a nice shower bathroom. The closet is small, but there's a washer and dryer. For an extra fee, they offer patios and weekly cleaning. Overall, residents seem happy.

"Assisted Living Review"
The staff who plan activities are excellent. The people at the front desk are nice but seem to have too much to do not enough staff. The places where everyone gathers could be cleaner if they vacuumed more often.

"Friendly Staff, Some Issues, Good Food, Activities"
Everyone was nice, but there were problems with care and coordination. My loved one enjoyed the food, and they had activities. The person in charge was great.

"Everyone is Always Smiling at Atria"
The staff really try hard. They are a bit short-staffed, but I know that's a problem everywhere. They do their best to make up for it. It's not too bad, but you can notice it. What really stands out to me is that everyone is always smiling. Not just the staff, but the residents too. That’s what made us choose Atria. It was the only place I visited where everyone was happy. I would definitely recommend them to other families.

"Poor Care at Nice Facility"
Our experience at the assisted living place was really bad. They’re short on staff and don’t look after the rooms well. The carpet by the shared bathroom was a mess with waste, and it stayed dirty for over a month. Sticky stuff was everywhere people hung out. My relative, who has trouble controlling their bladder, wasn’t helped enough. They didn’t assist her with cutting her food, so she couldn’t eat. We tried asking questions but got no answers. We told them her things and clothes were missing, but got no reply. After we made a complaint, they said she had to go. It’s a terrible spot. Even though the building looks good and is set up well, they really need to do better for folks with memory problems.

"Beautiful facility, but service affected by labor issues"
The resident I helped move to Atria has seen a drop in services since moving in. Labor shortages have caused problems with the cleaning schedule and dining services. The food quality has gone down because of supply chain issues. There have also been several management changes, which is worrying. They are thinking about looking at another place. The facility is beautiful, but the service has been hurt by labor shortages, supply chain problems, and changing management.

"Negligent Facility Leads to Loved One's Hospitalization"
This place isn't responsible and honest like they should be. Now, they gave off a nice vibe but didn't follow through on their promises. They're not giving the care they're supposed to, and it's putting people at risk. My loved one wasn't reminded to eat, so she didn't. And they didn't bother checking on her for hours on end at night. What's worse, they'd joke about finding her on the floor every morning, but they never told us she'd been falling. In the end, she ended up in the hospital hurt pretty badly.

"Potential Not Enough for Our Needs"
It looked like it could work, but it didn’t fit what we needed.
