"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom's barely getting by living here. Some nice workers, but most don't stick around. If you want frequent hospital trips for broken bones, this place is for you. Otherwise, keep searching.

"Prospective Resident Impressed by Tour Despite Appointment Issue"
I visited The Legacy at Hawthorne Park, but my scheduled person wasn't there. Still, they gave me a tour and kept in touch. It's a nice place. I chose another community due to room availability and friendly staff.

"Good Place, Needs Better Food and Stable Management"
We think this place is worth telling others about, but they really need to work on the food and where we eat. It’s not quite there yet. Also, they’re switching up the bosses right now.

"Cozy Community with Charming Town Square and Friendly Staff"
We really liked this place a lot. The common area with a town square setup is cool and the outside grounds are beautiful as well. The staff is super friendly and the people who live there seem happy too. The studio rooms were spacious enough for what we needed. They don't have closets but they give you a wardrobe which is almost as good.

"Cozy assisted living with friendly staff and reasonable prices"
This place is pretty nice and not too big. It looks like a little town in the main area. The people who work here are really nice and happy, and they keep the patients entertained. Everybody seemed cheerful. The prices are fair.

"Failing Senior Care: Neglect, Hydration and Medication Issues"
I'm pretty upset with this care center. They're not providing the right care for my mom. She isn't getting the personal attention she needs and they're not helping her shower regularly. They're not changing her clothes either. She's starting to lose weight because she isn't getting the right care. I've noticed the staff leaving residents alone at times. They even messed with her medications without her doctor's okay. They aren't making sure she drinks enough water. They aren't there for her when she needs help. We've had to bring in extra help for her care. She's starting to lose her sight, but they told me they don't care for patients losing their vision.

"Nice facility, but didn’t feel right for our family"
We had a good tour of this care facility. We liked the manager and how clean everything was. The menu looked good too. However, we didn’t get the warm feeling we were hoping for for my husband and our family member. Still, we think other families should visit to see if it might be right for their loved ones.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Great Staff and Activities"
We visited many places, but this one stood out the most. Instead of having a big dining room where residents eat, this community has small private dining rooms connected to their own kitchens. That made it feel more personal and cozy. No matter which dining room you’re in, when you leave, there’s a common area with seating and TVs. We really liked the setup. The staff is nice and kind. My mom is doing well here and enjoys the activities.

"Family Satisfied with Assisted Living; Would Recommend to Friends"
My family is happy with my mom's move to this place. I'm not there every day, but my brother says everything is good. Mom seems happy here, and we feel good about her living here. We have another family member here too, so it's easy to visit both at once. The cost fits our budget well. I'd tell my friends to consider this place.

I recently toured this community for my mom, and I have no complaints. The staff were friendly, and the presentation was great. The open floor plan and various amenities impressed me. Ultimately, it wasn’t the right fit for my mom, but I’d recommend it to others.

"Residents Happy, Security Concerns"
My mother-in-law's experience at this community has been pretty good. Everyone is kind and polite during our visits. The only concern is that residents can't go outside alone due to security measures. Overall, she's happy with the meals and cleanliness. We feel she's in good hands here.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living, Considered Due to Relocation"
The Brookdale Hawthorne Park was really nice. The building was super clean and looked after well. Everyone I met there was really friendly. I can't think of anything bad about the place; we just decided to look in another state.
