"Memory Care Staff and Director Shine, Housekeeping Needs Improvement"
The Memory Care staff does a great job, and the director, , is totally awesome. But, personally, I think housekeeping could improve. With today's technology, there should be something to tackle the smell. I often have to request clean sheets; otherwise, they don't get changed for weeks.

"Great Director, Good Activities, and Good Value for Money"
The Director at the Cove is fantastic. The Cove provides some activities for residents in memory care, but the assisted living area has even more options. The staff recognize my loved one and stay in touch with the family if there are any issues. Overall, it's a great value for the money.

"Friendly staff, good food, and lots of activities"
We had a family member here before, and we decided this was a good place for our loved ones. It feels like a family atmosphere. I've only talked to the administrative staff, not the nurses. The upper staff are friendly and willing to listen and help with any complaints. They have a good system for different levels of care. You get the help you ask for. They’ve been fair in wanting to help, but my loved one has been a bit resistant. The food is pretty good. We tried the salmon, and it was excellent. My loved ones love the breakfast but say other meals aren't as good. This might be because they forget to order what they want. There are plenty of activities, and my loved ones enjoy exercises, devotions, and bingo. We chose this community for the price, value, and open-air visitations. We feel there's less paranoia about the pandemic, which is good. They kept a sense of community even during the pandemic, unlike other places we looked at.

"Horrific Experience: Worst Assisted Living Facility Ever!"
This place was totally terrible for my grandma. She was unhappy, and her needs were not cared for. They were always late with everything and my grandma once shared with me that the nurses acted as if they were burdened by her presence. They were absolutely unkind. Two days ago, my grandma passed away. She wasn't in this facility at that time, so we had to pick her belongings from there. But, they didn't even let us in her room. The staff there tossed her stuff into boxes and left them in a room towards the back for us to pick up. They had not even an ounce of empathy and treated her belongings and her as if they were trash. Don't ever send anyone you care for to this place. You will regret your choice forever and you can't take it back.

"Found a friendly community, but another suited us better"
I had a good time visiting this place. It wasn't perfect for us, but the tour went smoothly. The community seemed pleasant, and the staff was nice. Everyone was welcoming, but we found another place that fit our needs better.

"Great staff and warm welcome make it a wonderful facility!"
From the first phone call to our visits, we were impressed by all the staff. They have welcomed my mom with dignity and respect, and she's adjusting well to the Harbor Chase family. Kudos to Kathleen and her caring team. This is a great place!

"Limited Freedom, Good Food, Pricey: 3-Star Assisted Living Review"
This place is pretty nice, and the food is great! But, you can't go outside without asking first. That's not cool because my mom won't ask, so she'll never get outside unless I take her or they decide to go out often. Also, it's really expensive.

"HarborChase Review"
I moved my mom with Alzheimer's from a Georgia assisted living facility to be closer to me in North Carolina last year. I really liked HarborChase when I first visited. The staff was friendly and caring, and the place was clean. But after 5 months, I decided to move my mom out. Her care was good, but I didn't like how management kept adding charges to our bills. They even put her in Memory Care without asking me. Eventually, I couldn't afford it, so she's now in a small group home.
