"Assisted Living Facility Review"
At first, everything seemed great. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Quick responses were reassuring. Sorting out Mom's meds took some time but got resolved. The biggest problem was the facility closing down after a month. It's been tough for Mom to adjust to a new place.

"Worryingly Unsafe with Indifferent Staff at Assisted Living Home"
The place wasn't safe at all. They didn't even have a working office phone, or any emergency pull systems to use, and none of the doors were locked. The staff would take food and utensils right out of the residents' hands. People living there had to bring their own cups and silverware to the dinner table. All of the activities were located a long distance away from where people lived, making it really hard to join in on anything. There was no record of when folks were bathed, checked up on, or given their medicines. This place was just terrible-- filthy, dangerous, and no one - not management or employees - ever talked to us.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean. The move-in process went smoothly. However, communication with the Director has been challenging. The food is good, and my dad enjoys it.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Kind Staff but Communication Issues"
The folks here are nice, but talking is hard. Finding the nurse's spot is tough, especially at night. There was mix-ups between sales and money people, which made me spend more and stress out. But my mom likes it there.

"Avoid this Facility: Subpar Care and Shady Management Deplorable"
Assisted Living Facility: A Nightmare. My mom suffered maximally when living there. She was moved to the assisted living side of the building, but there were no trained staff! They paid minimum wages and hired young, inexperienced people with no desire or skills to take care of elderly residents. Mom's room was filthy until I or the outside cleaning service we hired cleaned it. Meals were prepared with no set schedule. Residents would sit in the dining room at meal times, hoping dinner would show up before 7! I don't recommend this center at all. The management was suspicious; they faced legal trouble last year, and many left that were able to. Please, don't put your loved ones here.

"Avoid Pacifia Living Skylyn: Poor Services Despite Low Prices"
If there was an option to give them a ZERO, I'd choose it. I would warn everybody thinking about Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn for their elderly family, don't! Find a different place! There's a reason it's less costly...sometimes what you pay doesn't match the service! They ought to put money into bettering their place instead of just focusing on making profits at the expense of their residents.

""Awful Experience at Pacifica: Poor Communication and Safety Neglect""
No one talks to each other here. It doesn't feel like they care about safety enough. They can't even keep up with everyday things like forks and cups. The phone and internet hardly ever work. And that's not even everything... I wouldn't suggest Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn to anyone, it was a real let down.

"Unsettled Feeling After Touring Senior Home"
I visited Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn and the tour left me feeling uneasy. I’ve also come across some not-so-good things said about this place, which led us to decide against choosing them.

"Assisted Living Review: Decent but Room for Improvement"
This place is trying hard. They put in new carpets and floors. They give meals and rides to the doctor. My family member likes the food. It's worth the money. They should talk better with the residents. They're good at getting medical help quickly.

"Many Issues at Pacifica: Missed Meals, Falls, and Broken Promises"
My sister-in-law moved my father-in-law to Pacifica where I consequently had to take him out after six grueling days and bring him to my place. I discovered he had missed at least three meals in that short period because no one was available to assist him to the dining room. He walks with a walker but the eating area was too much of a distance for him to manage on his own. They pretty much told him that, assisting him to the dining area, wasn't their job. On the second day, he waited for help for four hours after ringing the service bell, but nobody came. The next day, he had a fall and was stuck on the floor for three hours, yelling for assistance. He ended up crawling to his door on his hands and knees, opening it just enough to yell across the hall to a neighboring resident for help. His arm was so scraped up during this ordeal and it took three months to heal once he was back home with me. They falsely promised him weekly church services which he was really looking forward to, but their beautiful chapel remained unused. They also have a terrible habit of ignoring the phone or not returning any calls. The whole experience was an absolute nightmare.

"Mixed feelings: Caring staff, responsive residents, lacking administration."
Some staff here are really nice and kind. The other people living here are friendly too. The people who help with exercises come to my mom, and they know what they're doing and help a lot. A doctor's helper checks on my mom, and she's good at her job. My mom's room is big and pretty, feels like a small apartment, which is great. They just hired someone new to plan fun stuff, and I've seen things get better since they came. They have cool stuff planned on their schedule. The only bad thing is the people who work in the office aren't good at getting back to us when we ask stuff. They're having a dinner to meet them, so maybe they'll start answering our questions then.

"Avoid this Facility: Poor Maintenance, Unprofessional Management and Lack of Transparency"
This place is simply the worst. Three times, our loved one's toilet overflowed and, despite numerous requests for help, it took them three whole days to fix it. That's three days without access to a bathroom! One night, the kitchen sink broke and fell in, and it took them two days just to take a look. The window lacks a screen, so we can't open it, and the hallway carpet is stained. We don't receive a monthly bill from them. Instead, we must go to the front counter each month to ask to pay the bill, and they've consistently gotten the price wrong. We've tried to talk with the Director, but they're never around, and the Office Manager wouldn't even come out to discuss our issues, claiming she was "busy working". Don't bother calling the corporate office, because they won't return your calls. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

"Friendly Staff and Tasty Food at Pacifica!"
The staff at Pacifica is great! Our main contact, the staff, is super friendly and always quick to fix any problems. The whole team is on top of things. The apartments are a good size, and the food is surprisingly good. They even let residents eat in their rooms. We’d definitely recommend Pacifica to others!”

"Disappointing Tour of Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited the facility in person, but we weren't impressed. The lobby was nice, and the dining area and conference rooms were well organized. However, as we went further back towards the memory care area, it felt like they stopped caring. The paint was chipping off the walls, and there was a dismantled door left unrepaired. It didn't give us a great feeling.
