"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't suggest this place. Some staff are nice. The building is clean and looks good. But some workers keep giving medicines without checking if the person feels sick or hurts.

"Decent Facility, Pleasant Staff, But Not the Perfect Fit"
We checked out the Oaks at Daniel Island for a place where our family member could get help and care. The place was alright. The people working there were friendly. But we couldn’t shake the feeling that it might not be the right place for our family member. There was also a bit of an odd smell while we were walking around, even though everything seemed neat and tidy.

"Lacking Activities and Meals at Assisted Living - Needs Improvement"
My family and our loved one didn't have a great time at the community. Everyone seemed nice, but there weren't many activities for the residents. This was disappointing, as were the meals. We suggest asking lots of questions about the care, how many staff there are for each resident, seeing the activity schedule, and checking out the meal menu. Make sure you get all your questions answered before choosing this place.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living; good for high needs."
The place didn't have a fun activities person. Staff changed. It's good for people who need lots of help. They were nice when my loved one left.

"Considered Option"
I visited this place while exploring care choices for my family member. The facility was neat, staff were friendly, but we chose a closer community.

"Mixed Feelings About Remote Assisted Living"
The place is beautiful, but it’s on a different island. It might be too hard to reach in an emergency.
