"Changes Impact Assisted Living Experience"
The facility and staff are awesome. Living here used to be the best in NE Columbia, but things changed in Independent Living over the past year: no more transportation for errands, meals reduced to one instead of two, and rent increased per month.

"Friendly staff and spacious rooms; Memory Care needs improvement"
The staff here are really nice and always willing to help. However, the Memory Care section could use more assistance. My mom has a roomy shared room, and there are outside activities for residents who can join in.

"Horrible Care: Mom Left Unattended, Poor Service, Legal Trouble Likely"
These guys don't do anything they promised, in writing. The food here stinks, and their idea of cleaning is sweeping with a broom. They never once checked on my mom, which is the whole reason we picked this place - for my peace of mind while I was away for work. They never call when they say they will, we pulled the emergency cord and nobody came, her bathroom didn't have water for three days, and the community van just sits there. The only people I've ever seen getting in and out of it are workers with their lunches. The first bill was all messed up, nobody there knows what they're doing, and the people who are in charge of leasing and move-in are terrible at their jobs. I told them less than two weeks after my mom moved in that she wouldn't be staying. I'm worried that I'm going to need a lawyer to get them to give back the community fee.

"Affordable and Nice Assisted Living Community"
We got a two-bedroom for the price of one. It’s nice. We chose this place because it’s affordable. It’s a great choice!”

"Relatives locked in rooms at Harmony at Columbia"
The Harmony at Columbia was the place where my family members were living before. Every time I tried to go see her, she was stuck in her room. I always had to find someone who worked there to unlock the door for me.

"Nice place but needs more outdoor space and activities"
It's a nice place. I wish they had more outdoor space for the residents. It would be great if they had picnic tables, a garden, and a spot for outdoor activities. Right now, they mostly sit in rocking chairs out front. We chose this community because it’s closer to home and more affordable.

"Common Spaces Feel Claustrophobic"
Our family visited Harmony at Columbia in person, and overall, it was a good tour experience. However, the common spaces felt too small for the number of residents, making it feel claustrophobic.

"Great place, but they backed out at the last minute"
I visited Harmony at Columbia and it looked like a great place. They were all set to take in my loved one, but they suddenly changed their mind at the last minute. It was really disappointing because we really liked it.

"Understaffing Affects Care Quality at Harmony at Columbia"
I'd say to anyone checking out Harmony at Columbia that their lack of enough staff is making the care not as good.

"Impressive décor, clean facilities, and friendly staff. Very pleased!"
My son and I were really impressed. The entryway was beautifully decorated, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly, and the rooms had plenty of space. The staff gave us all the information we needed. We’re very happy with our visit and will consider this place based on how things go in the future.

"Convenient Location, Friendly Staff, Room for Improvement"
This place is great, just a mile from home. They first put him in a small room, but when they saw it wasn't working, they moved him to a bigger one near the elevator, and he's feeling better. When I toured, they said there would be men his age, but most are older. He's okay with the food, not as much as where he was before, but they'll make what he wants if he asks. The staff is really nice, though at first, talking to them was a little rough, but it's getting better.

"Tour for Care"
We visited this place for Mom’s care. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. We liked how clean it was inside, and they had activities available. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a room when we needed it for Mom. Still, we’d recommend this community to other families.

The person who showed us around was friendly and honest. They told us upfront that they couldn't accommodate Mom's needs. The place looked clean and well-maintained.

"Tour Pricey but Nice Staff in New Assisted Living Community"
This place is like totally new and super pretty. But it was kind of too much money for us. The people who work there were really cool though, they were nice to me and they helped me with my questions.

"The Crossings: A Place of Joy and Care"
I couldn’t be happier with The Crossings of Columbia. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Unlike my mom’s previous facility, where communication was lacking, The Crossings has improved the doctor’s interactions and consistently provided the care she needs. The movers were also impressed, giving it 5 stars. My mom enjoys the food, care, and friendly staff. She’s even laughing more and connecting with others. A relative was amazed when my mom reminisced about old times—a rare occurrence. I’m truly thankful to “A Place for Mom” for recommending The Crossings to our family.
