"Great Staff, Cost Concerns"

The staff at the assisted living facility does their best. I'm worried about the cost of care, but overall, the staff has been excellent.

"Too Expensive and Unhelpful, Mom No Longer Stays There"

My time at this nursing home was awful and my mom no longer lives there. They kept asking for too much money from me. I was always arguing with them. The people in charge of bills had no clue what was going on. Even the head boss didn't know what he was doing. The workers didn't help at all. I discovered that sometimes during the night, there wasn't anyone on my mom's floor to assist her. Only one person would watch both floors of the nursing home.

"Harmony Shows Promise, Staff Struggles"

I think Harmony has a lot of promise. It's close to woods, goose ponds, and a golf course. The building is well organized and generally in good shape. There are several dedicated staff members in Memory Care, but they're stretched thin.

"The Good and the Dumpster: Assisted Living Review"

The staff caring for my mom in the memory care unit were wonderful. The facility offers many services that are part of the cost, such as a health coach to help residents with activities, bus tours, and exercise classes geared towards their abilities. However, I removed a star because after a family member dies, the two-week window to remove their belongings from their room isn't honored. When my mom passed away, I took everything from her room except her bed, planning to return later in the week to pick it up. Unfortunately, the maintenance staff threw the bed in a dumpster the day before I returned. Despite my complaint, the higher-ups didn't respond to my call.

"Unreliable Management and Messy Accounting Make This Facility a No-Go"

The leadership at this place constantly changes and no one seems to have a clue about anything. They keep attempting to withdraw more money than they should each month. Bizarrely, for the first four months, they didn't take any money at all... their accounting is a total disaster! I DON'T ADVICE ANYONE TO CHOOSE THIS FACILITY!!!

"Disastrous Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

If I could, I'd give a zero or less. This was honestly the worst scenario we've faced in a while. They didn't pay much attention to our dad and let him misplace all his stuff from his room within the facility. The personnel is mean and don't really work hard. Our dad didn't shave and we're not even sure if he took a shower during his week stay. We also have doubts if they gave him proper meals. They just let him wander off, he exited through the back gate and was lost for many hours. My sister discovered him on a golf course. We had to call the cops and we quickly took him out from that place. I would tell no one to go there!

"Convenient location, but not recommended"

I wouldn't pick them again. I chose them because they were close. I wouldn't recommend them.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

When my stepmom’s health declined, I hoped they’d adjust the price for assisted living. Sadly, we had to move her elsewhere. My dad had made good friends there.

"Activities Need Improvement, But Still Recommend"

The activities could be better, and more staff on Sundays would help. Overall, we recommend this community.

"Woman Exposes Subpar Conditions & Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"

This assisted living facility has sloppy memory care unit design, along with sightless hallways that do not aid with keeping track of the residents. The wretched stench of urine is constant, and there are issues with air conditioning and mold in some rooms. There's no sign of housekeeping, and they don't do laundry regularly. They totally neglected my family member, not providing any way to ask for help or take showers. To be precise, she NEVER got a shower. Her health issues amplified and I discovered she didn't take her prescriptions as instructed. She was continually overmedicated at this place, but when she moved out and started taking the correct doses, her heart swelling quickly reduced. The caregivers, who are fatigued, understaffed, or just don't care, misled me that my family member was confused about her meds and I took their word for it. Now, I feel so much regret. The residents are like trapped under the mercy of the caregivers. There's no emotional or spiritual support for them. Even though we ensured regular visits and regularly contacted the management, nothing improved her plight.

"Nice Place, No Pool"

We visited Harmony at Wescott while searching for a place for our loved one. It was really nice—clean and good food. But no indoor pool, which we hoped for.
