"New manager made a huge difference, Dad's happy again."
My dad has been here for years, and in the last three months, things have completely turned around with the new Business Manager. He's always friendly and spends time with the residents. My dad even calls him his son. I haven’t seen my dad this happy in years, talking about what they do together. When I visited in October, I noticed the old administrator, who was rarely around, was gone. This was the best decision for the place. It’s clean, and my dad is always well cared for. Last week, I walked in, and the new manager was with Dad in the garden, tending to beautiful collards and peppers. Thank God for the changes!

"From Old Issues to Great Care: A True Improvement"
My review of this facility has really improved over the past three months. The previous administrator made some bad decisions and hurt the business. I worked there before and saw the damage done. Now, my father loves the family-like atmosphere and the friendly, smart new Business Manager who everyone likes. For the money we pay, this place is better than others I’ve paid $3500 a month. Since the old administrator left, there’s no bad smell, and my dad enjoys walking around and talking about the new manager and the time he spends with everyone. The negative reviews here seem to come from unhappy former staff. But you won’t find a safer, more caring place. If you have concerns, consider volunteering to see the care firsthand. Complaints won’t help anyone. If you really care, offer to help out and you’ll see what a difference it makes. Getting rid of the old staff was a great move for this facility. Keep moving forward and stay positive! Happy Holidays and remember to judge fairly. Did you offer to help? Thank you to the young man for caring for the residents, and my family appreciates the care for my dad.

"'In Need of Renovations and Better Cleanliness'"
When I toured this assisted living place, I wasn't thrilled. It looked old and kind of dirty. As I walked in, I smelled something weird. But the staff was trying hard, and it seemed like the people living there were okay. It's clear that the building needs serious fixing up. Also, it didn't feel super safe to me.

"Lackluster Care and Conditions at Twilite Manor Assisted Living Facility"
I didn't like Twilite Manor. The staff doesn't give proper care. Patients are left alone too long. Many falls could've been prevented with better monitoring. Sadly, a family member died after a fall there. The food isn't good. My family member was left in dirty conditions, prompting DHEC to be called. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

"Twilite Manor Neglects Patients, Subpar Food, Unsanitary Conditions"
I really didn't like Twilite Manor. The people working there don't take care of the residents like they should. For example, they're often left alone for too long. There have been several falls that could've been avoided if they'd been watched more. A fall there even led to my family member's death. The food isn't good either, in my opinion. My family member was also left in dirty state, so bad that DHEC was contacted. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.

"Avoid Twilite Manor: They Refused Hospital Care for My Loved One"
Our time at Twilite Manor wasn't good. Don't go there. I got worried about my family member's health getting worse. I asked them to take him to the hospital. They argued with me a lot. I had to argue back hard before they agreed. It turned out he was really sick.

"Difficult Experience, Wouldn't Suggest Twilite Manor"
Twilite Manor was a big letdown for us. I don't think anyone should go there. I started getting worried when my loved one's health was getting worse and I had to plead for them to take him to the hospital. They put up a fight and made everything difficult. When they finally gave in and sent him to the hospital, we found out he was really sick.

"Charging Premium Rates for Subpar Assisted Living Facilities"
This place might as well be called The Twilight Zone. I feel like I was only sent there to value the other facilities more. It's mind-boggling how they can ask for the same money as the good places!

"Loved this place, but family issues stopped us"
I really liked this place. We were ready to move in, but some family stuff came up. It was clean, and the staff was friendly. It was a really nice place. I wish it had worked out.

"Mom Thrives at Twilite Manor with Great Food and Care"
I looked at several places before choosing Twilite Manor for my mom. What really stood out during my first visit was how happy the staff were and how more than half of the residents were outside enjoying the beautiful day. I knew I had made the right choice when I saw my mom looking more relaxed than she had in years when I picked her up for the first time after her move. The cozy size and quiet atmosphere are perfect for someone starting to have dementia. Sometimes, we might be tempted by fancier places, but for those with dementia, simpler is better. I asked my mom about the food, and she excitedly said, I love it She even talked about lunch for the first time in years. Also, Jenny Weatherford is fantastic. She went out of her way to connect me with a Medicare expert so we could find the right plan for my mom since we moved to a new state. I never would have thought of that on my own.

"Reasonable cost, good care; limited activities, happy residents; satisfying experience."
It's expensive no matter where you go. I pay a bit over $2000 monthly. When my wife needs a nursing home, it'll rise to $4000 or $5000, a big jump later. The care services are really good; we're quite satisfied. They offer some activities, though not many, since there aren't many residents—only about 28. My wife is genuinely happy there, and that's what matters. She knows everyone and they all get along well.

"Affordable and Satisfying Assisted Living with Great Care Services"
It's pricey no matter where you look, I suppose. I have to dish out a little over $2000 each month there. When my wife requires a nursing home, the cost will skyrocket to $4000 or $5000, so it gets pricier later on. But the care services are top-notch. We're really happy with them. They offer a few activities, though not many, considering there aren't too many residents—just around 28. My wife is genuinely content there, and that's what truly matters, I suppose. She knows everyone there, and they all get along swimmingly.
