"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Yes, I would recommend this place. It could use more time outdoors; fresh air would be really beneficial. Currently, like many places, they are short-staffed, which leads to too much work for the employees and frequent changes in staff. This isn't good for patients needing memory care. The common areas are always clean, but the individual rooms could be cleaner. Meals are similar each week and quite plain. Outdoor activities are limited due to staffing shortages. Overall, I would choose this place again.

"Quiet, Cozy Assisted Living with Assigned Dinner Tables"
The community feels like a cozy hotel. Most residents stay in their rooms except during meals. It’s unclear whether it’s due to activities or personal preference. Dinner tables are assigned, allowing people to connect. A great fit for our quiet loved one.

"Lack of Timely Help Leads to Hospitalize Loved One"
We're really upset about how they took care of our family member. Before they died, they had fallen at the place. They never liked asking for help because they wanted to do things on their own, but when they did fall they hit the call button for help and no one showed up quickly. Because of that, they ended up going to the hospital hurt, and we really wish we could have been there with them at the facility when they were dying.

"Affordable Assisted Living with Great Care and Good Food"
This place is affordable. The care is amazing. They have nice rooms with their own bathrooms. They check on the residents every two hours. The nursing staff is good, but not great. The food is excellent.

"False Promises and Lack of Care at Memory Unit"
My sister sadly died there after only a week. She was in the memory care portion, but we didn't know how they lacked help for severe dementia. They promised us they could handle it, but they didn't have enough staff and she fell out of her bed and died from the fall 5 days later. We had to give her drugs like morphine ourselves as they didn't have a night nurse. They don't live up to their claims about the level of care they provide in the Memory Care Unit. The place was clean and had decent furniture, but there were no safety rails on the bed, no help buttons, tiny room, and we had to bring our own sheets. It was expensive, and they're not ready for severe dementia patients like they say they are. They might not have enough nurses, but they also do not have enough kindness and attention for really sick people. The medication never comes when it should. Don't leave your family there thinking they will be looked after. I highly discourage using this place.

"Nice Place, But Too Quiet and Expensive"
This place is in a good spot. It's newly fixed up and looks really nice. It seemed a bit too quiet for my parents. It's also pretty expensive.

"Beautiful place, just not right for my parents"
It had a great location. The whole place had been remodeled, and it seemed very attractive. However, it felt a bit too quiet for my parent's taste. It was also fairly expensive.

"A Welcoming Assisted Living Community"
This community has a lot to offer, especially for those who no longer have other homes. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help when needed. The homelike atmosphere is important for those of us who are used to that kind of living. Additionally, friends and family are free to visit whenever they'd like.

"Overall, We Like It!"
The place was okay. The workers were nice and they helped a lot. My father-in-law just complained about the food. But everything else, like the clean community and his room, was good.

"Very positive experience!"
I had a great tour of the Alexander Guest House. It used to be a motel, and it felt really comfortable inside. Everything was very clean, and the staff I met were friendly and knew a lot. Unfortunately, there wasn't an available room for my husband, so we didn't choose this community.
