"Limited Food Choices and Cleanliness Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
The food options for picky eaters are limited. The building's floors need better cleaning. After private pay, they should accept TNcare choices.

"Belvedere Commons: Mixed Experience with Memory Care"
I’m happy I discovered Belvedere Commons. The shared room options are great when money is tight. However, I wish they would engage my mother more consistently. She has advanced dementia and is easy to engage with, but sometimes she’s left to herself. The smell in the Memory Care area is terrible, and I hope they address it soon. [name removed] is quick to help.

"Understaffed Facility Struggles with Basics, Quiet Environment Prevails"
The place has a few workers who seem really busy. They had to let go of the kitchen staff, so the office staff had to do kitchen work for a while. Finally, they hired someone new. They often run out of important things and make simple meals without much choice. They're supposed to give rides, but the bus has broken down a lot. It's not very lively here, and most people stay in their rooms. The rooms are spacious. The staff members all seem nice when I see them.

"Horrifying Experience at Assisted Living Facility with Poor Care"
Our family had an awful time with the safety, cleanliness, and general care at this place. My husband managed to leave the facility twice. The cleaning services were lacking and the whole place stunk like urine! The care and services they promised were far off from reality. My husband could leave twice - once because the gate was just left wide open. The director even saw him wandering onto Royal Parkway. Another time, some nice folks saw him on Royal PKW and knew something wasn't right. They brought him back. It could've ended really badly. The meals were small and served cold. They said they'd help him eat but only one assistant did, and she worked nights. No idea what her name was. I ended up bring meals nearly every day and also snacks. The smell of urine was all over the place and strong enough to make the floors sticky. The public toilets were way too dirty - filled with waste and urine. They promised some kind of physical activity, but that never happened. Most days, either I or his kids were there. I get that he has Alzheimer's and couldn't do group stuff, but they said he'd have individual activities throughout the week. Communication was a pain. They told me I could call and ask about him, but barely anyone ever answered...especially at night. Trying to get information from director or nurse was just as tough. One nurse barely spoke English. We were in middle of finding a new place when a UTI landing him. Thankfully, a space opened up, where he got good care. Oddly enough, the cost was pretty much the same as here. The staff here is so understaffed. Only one person works at night. The whole thing was a disaster. I don't get how they're still running.

"Budget-friendly but dated facility with maintenance concerns"
This place is kinda old and has some problems that seem like they'd cost a lot to fix. The toilets didn't flush so well, and the air conditioners were old and didn't work great when we shut the door. They were doing some fixes when we moved in a while back, like new floors and paint, so maybe they'll get around to these things too. The staff were nice though, they made sure everyone was ready for meals. It was cheap, so I get that they might not have a big budget for everything.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms at Belvedere Commons"
All the staff at Belvedere Commons of Franklin are pretty friendly. I think they should have more activities for everyone, and maybe more Aides. My loved one's room is cleaner than ever. I tried the food once, and it was tasty, but my loved one says it's bad. Overall, I'm happy with the place and would recommend it to others.

"Decent Place, Needs More Cheer"
The guide who showed us around was really nice and gave us a lot of help. But the place itself feels kind of old and not too happy. It would be better if they had more fun colors around because it doesn't feel super welcoming right now. Also, the way the place is set up doesn't seem like it would be the best for the person I care about.

"Aged, Homely Assisted Living Facility with Cozy but Cramped Rooms"
MEMORY CARE SEEKERS ONLY! This is an old but cozy property made up of two buildings: one for assisted care and the other, known as the village, for memory care. The buildings, though somewhat old with narrow hallways, have a homely feel. They are arranged into three sections with around 10 rooms each, opening up to a hallway that leads to a common area with a lunch counter style sitting area for meals and activities. The sections are segregated into male, female, and mixed segments. Residents can wander between the sections if they can manage to open the doors, which usually stay closed. The facility also gives access to outdoor areas with rich greenery. The rooms are small and can accommodate two people. However, even with a partial wall separating the beds, the rooms feel cramped. We are worried that mom would not have the capacity to open any doors to explore and might feel confined in such tight quarters. The staff seemed friendly and proficient. The organization is licensed and offers combined Assisted Care and Memory Care services. Memory Care is provided in a different building from Assisted Living. The facility has 30 rooms and allows outdoor access. Activities include live music, lunch outings, and plenty of art projects under the supervision of four activity directors. The fees are $4800 for shared rooms, $5300 for private rooms, $2000 for the second occupant, and $1000 community fee. The staff of 20 associates have tenure ranging between 3 to 15 years. The caregiver ratio is not specified.

"Dreadful Experience At Assisted Living Facility"
Our experience at this assisted living place has been awful. They don't give much care, and their attention to cleanliness, especially the bathroom needs of the residents, is really bad. It's true that the staff have worked there for a long time, but this seems to have made them careless and indifferent to any problems raised. I would strongly advise not to pick this place for the care of your dear ones. There are much better options available. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I couldn't stand by and let another family suffer like we did because of the poor care provided here. They also don't do a good job of keeping the rooms and bathrooms clean. We are very unhappy as a family.

"Feels Like Home!"
We've really had a good experience with this community. It feels like a breath of fresh air, especially since the last place was terrible. I always have to clean my dad's bathroom when I visit because I don't think they clean it every day. The staff here is awesome and super good at what they do. Dad is joining in a few activities, and it's not because they aren't trying. I've always had a good feeling about this community.

"Disappointing Care and Lack of Patient Engagement Noticed"
Assisted living and memory care patients are kept separate here - there's no mingling. I spotted a worker who was supposed to be taking a patient to lunch, but she walked away as soon as she got distracted by our chat with the boss. Didn't say a word to the patient she left. In the memory care area, a helper startled a patient in a wheelchair by grabbing her shoulder and pushing her somewhere else, all without saying anything. The patient was freaked out, and the worker didn't apologize or comfort her. I wouldn't want my mom to stay here.

"Community Offers Great Amenities, Some Healthcare Issues"
This place is really nice! It costs a lot, but that's normal compared to other places nearby. The food isn't fancy, but it's okay. They do fun things like going out for lunch and getting slushies. But there was a problem with some healthcare tests not happening. We'll give them another chance. We had two choices, and we picked this one because of the courtyard and outdoor area.

"Nice place"
We visited this place while exploring options for our loved one. We liked everything here! The staff were friendly and professional, and the care and activities seemed great. One issue we noticed was that the hallways and rooms looked a bit worn and could use new carpet.
