"Friendly Staff and Great Communication!"
Our family member has lived here for a few months, and the staff is super professional and helpful. The director knows us by name, and communication is excellent.

"Proceed with caution: Opal at Music City assisted living."
I wouldn't recommend Opal unless it's the only option left or if Medicaid is needed.

"Facility Renovations Impact Quality and Cost"
Probably not the best option for our family. Seems too expensive for what it offers. Plus, they're starting major renovations, which could be disruptive.

"Disappointment and Mismanagement at Assisted Living Facility"
Our family had an awful time at this assisted living home. Our mom was there for nearly three months before we had to move her. The place barely had enough staff members and hardly any cleaning happened. They went through 5 nursing directors in less than 90 days, cut off her insurance without asking, and tried to break the contract by raising the rent. They tacked on extra fees that were supposed to be part of the contract's original cost. The maintenance guy even had to help Mom get dressed. The food was really bad and they gave her medicine she wasn't supposed to have. There's more I could say. All I can tell you is, don't judge a book by it's cover.

"Unreliable and Inadequate Staffing and Care at Assisted Living Facility"
Deplorable living conditions at Eldercare Facility" This assisted living facility continuously replaces its staff. There's next to no activities or outdoor space for residents, not even a garden. It's an exercise-free zone. The food? Way too spicy. And the worst part, they tampered with my family member's health insurance without asking first. They even prescribed them Opioids without our permission! The in-house doctor is wrongly billing us for services they shouldn't even be performing. It seems like employees are taking on duties way beyond their qualifications. And they arbitrarily change their policies with total disregard for the residents' needs and comfort. The place is a total mess. Don't get fooled by the neat and organized appearance during meals because that's the only time you'll see residents having water. They even resort to laying off necessary staff: no nurses, no housekeepers, no bath aids, and no caregivers. Despite the flashy brochure and lofty promises, I can't possibly recommend this place. Once you move in, you get to see the grim reality behind the scenes.
