"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place might be okay if you don't have other options. They say they have transportation, but it's limited to certain days and times, and it's first-come, first-served. Patients need more outings. Communication needs a boost; there should be ways to talk to staff, like by phone or through activities. Also, they need someone at the front desk all the time and a cell phone for weekends.

"Dedicated Staff and Cozy Atmosphere at The Village of Bellevue"
The staff at The Village of Bellevue are very dedicated and hardworking. During a recent snow event in Nashville, many senior staff and others stayed at the facility for the entire week. Housekeeping is performed once a week, and caregivers tidy up the rooms and empty trash on other days. Communication with family could improve as decisions are unclear at times. Moving in was simple, with maintenance providing a helpful dolly. Under new ownership, meal quality has significantly improved, offering at least two choices per meal with alternatives always available. The program director organizes a variety of activities for residents. Health professionals are caring and professional. The Village of Bellevue's smaller size fosters a sense of family, intimacy, and warmth. For those seeking a smaller, caring assisted living facility, I recommend The Village of Bellevue.

"Disgruntled Review Exposes Flaws in Assisted Living Facility"
Our grandma's been at the facility for close to two years now. Before she moved in, we were promised activities for memory care patients and accommodation of special diets. Sadly, none of these promises were met. Ever since she's been there, we've noticed a high turnover of staff, including two General Managers. Even now, there's no Activities Manager on deck and if your loved one needs a special diet, you're out of luck here. We’ve seen monthly fees going up, allegedly due to supplies costs (which is strange because we even supply her toilet paper) and services. They claim they’ve been planning to hire an Activities Director and a Dietitian since Day One. A few weeks ago, I dropped by and found that the entire memory care unit was being overseen by a lone employee. If you're looking for a reliable assisted living facility, I strongly advise that you broaden your search.

"Mixed Feelings on The Village at Bellevue's Setup and Size"
We toured The Village at Bellevue online and in person. The director was nice, but I didn't like the layout. It felt cramped and dim, and the living area in the two-bedroom apartment seemed too small to furnish comfortably.

"Security Concerns Amid Staff Changes at The Village Assisted Living"
The Village is going through big staff changes, so the people we first met aren't there anymore. Our family's main issue so far is with security. There doesn't seem to be any. Visitors can just come and go through the community. There's no receptionist to check people in and out, which makes us uneasy sometimes.

"Caring Community with Room to Improve"
I think this place is nice. People are friendly here. I wish they paid more attention to my loved ones, but that’s probably the same everywhere. Especially during COVID.

"Older facility, clean, but small rooms and limited common space"
I met with [name]. The facility is older but clean. It felt a bit quiet to me. The rooms were very small, and there wasn't much common space except the dining room. He said there might not be an extra charge for just a little help with showers.

"Friendly Tour but Not Ideal for Loved Ones"
We went on a tour of this place. The lady who talked to us at the start was nice and friendly. But when we got there, nobody said hello to us for fifteen minutes. The tour itself was okay, everything looked neat and tidy. The people working there were nice, but I didn't think it would be the best place for my loved one.

"Pleasant Experience"
I didn't have any problems during my tour of this community. The staff arrived on time for our appointment and answered our questions thoroughly. However, it ultimately wasn't the right fit.

"Older but nicely decorated assisted living, with attentive staff."
This senior living place has undergone many improvements since my mom stayed there as the Waterford. Even though it's older, it's well-decorated and cleaned regularly. It's a smaller community, which gives it a cozy feeling. The administrators and staff have been really helpful to both me and my mom to make her move as easy as possible. The residents aren't as active as my mom would like, but she knows that can change quickly in a community. Thanks a lot to you and A Place for Mom!

"A Cozy Senior Living Community with Helpful Staff"
There have been lots of improvements to the place since my mom lived there when it was called the Waterford. Even though it's an older senior living facility, it's nicely decorated and kept clean. It's a smaller community, which makes it feel more like home. The staff has been really helpful during my mom's transition. The other residents aren't as active as she'd like, but that can change quickly. Big thanks to you and A Place for Mom!

"Not the Right Vibe!"
I visited this community for a tour, and it looked beautiful. The staff answered all my questions and seemed friendly. The residents said they’re happy here. However, I didn’t quite feel the vibe I was looking for. Still, it’s a nice place.

"Brookdale Bellevue should be on the short list if you're looking for a facility for a loved one or yourself."
My cousin moved to Brookdale Bellevue about 6 weeks ago, and she's really happy. The food doesn't always suit her because she's a picky eater, but that's normal in a place like this. The care she's receiving is good, and I appreciate that each resident has an emergency pendant. The nursing staff is excellent. The facility is smaller, which feels more like home and is easier for older folks to get around. The bus service to the doctors twice a week is great; the driver even takes patients into the office before leaving.

"High Standards of Care"
The staff is nice and helpful. They communicate well, calling us when needed, which is great. They're willing to support my grandfather through everything, which sets a high standard. While they do their job at the assisted living facility, he might need more care. Still, their commitment to providing full care is commendable.

"Excellent Care and Friendly Staff!"
This place is really good. The building is always clean and neat, and they offer lots of fun things for the people who live there to do. I like how nice the staff is and how much they care about my family member. They work hard to make sure everyone feels good and has fun.

"Limited activities and communication issues; overall satisfactory experience at Emeritus"
We picked Emeritus because we liked it when we visited. The staff is super nice, and we still think it's good for us. But, there was some trouble communicating when we were settling our loved one in. They only use certain mail services for medication, so check if they can handle your loved one's meds. Also, there aren't enough different activities for all the residents. They have a schedule, but when you ask about it, it seems messy. Still, we're pretty happy with our choice and would suggest it to others.
