"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience with Inconsistent Services"
They said they'd clean and do laundry, but they don't. Staff lacks compassion. The sales director is great, others just okay.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff were nice and always ready to assist. Moving in went smoothly and was a great experience. However, the food was mostly bad and often not ready when it should have been. I ended up ordering delivery most of the time. Also, I believe they should have someone show new residents around for longer than just a day. I didn't even get that.

"Convenient and Good Assisted Living Facility"
Red Cedar Glen is a nice place. It’s really handy because it’s close to my home, so I can stay nearby.

"Caring Staff, Good Activities, Dining Needs Work"
Everyone working here is really kind! They treat the people living here with a lot of respect. That’s super important to us because we get that it’s not always easy to deal with the elderly. It’s awesome how many fun events they put on! The activities they have every day are a big hit for keeping everyone active and engaged. It’s so cool that residents can keep their pets here! The place itself is in a great spot, and the outdoor areas are lovely. But there’s some stuff that could be better, especially in the eating area. We told them what food our family member needs when they moved in, but it seems like they’re not getting that in their meals. We end up having to bring food for them a lot.

"Mixed feelings about Red Cedar Glen Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited Red Cedar Glen. It's in an old building that seemed rundown despite ongoing renovations. The courtyard also appeared neglected. We met with who was very kind; she even baked my mom bread! But the front desk person was rude. We also met the activities director and bus driver, both nice. The apartments felt small and impersonal. They offer various activities, including scenic drives by the bus driver. The menu seemed decent, and they provide three meals a day, but the cost was too high. My mom felt it resembled a nursing home more than independent living.

"Caring Staff and Simple Process Ensure Peace of Mind for Families"
The process was simple, the staff really cares about residents, and I'm relieved knowing Dad's well-cared for when I'm away.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
My family likes Red Cedar Glen's friendly staff and helpful attitude. They could improve the outside area where the facility is located. The ditch in front of the property doesn't look good.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Food"
My family member isn't a fan of the food. The dining area and kitchen often lack staff, and sometimes the food arrives cold. On the bright side, it's affordable. I want to give a shout-out to [name removed] from A Place for Mom for helping us choose this community. After the tour, my loved one seemed to like the place, especially their apartment. However, the food definitely needs improvement.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities"
The staff was super friendly and great at communicating with families. The rooms could use bigger windows for more natural light, but everything is clean.

"Mixed Experiences but Worth Visiting Regularly"
Red Cedar Glen has been okay. Some folks are friendly, but others seem like they're only working for the money. Make sure you drop by often and let them see you. It's important they know you care about your loved one so they keep giving good care.
