"Cecil House: A Welcoming Home for Mom"
My mom moved to Cecil House. At first, she was quite a challenge. But the staff didn’t give up on her. Mom isn’t the easiest person to live with because my dad spoiled her a lot. When he left, it became my responsibility. Not an easy job, let me tell you. However, the wonderful people here have worked hard this past month to make her feel welcome. She’s had her ups and downs, but I think she’s really getting comfortable with them. Dominique, with her gentle spirit, has even won Mom’s heart. And the food? Mom and I both love it! She’s become a good roommate to her friend Miss Betty. I hope Mom continues to thrive here until I can be more involved after I retire.
