"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My husband stayed there. He had memory problems, and they sent him to the ER when he didn't cooperate. He ended up in a psychiatric hospital multiple times. Too many personal items went missing, and the staff changed frequently. Snacks weren't always given as promised. However, the food was excellent, especially the meal choices. The courtyard lacked shade.

"Awful Care and Financial Exploitation at Assisted-Living Facility"
I wouldn't even trust this place with my trash! They were all smiles until they took our money. They irresponsibly fed my diabetic father cupcakes, and we discovered piles of dirty laundry hidden in his closet. When we voiced our concerns to the staff, the situation deteriorated further. After just three weeks, they demanded a ridiculous sum of money from us and are now suing us for even more. And there's sadly more to this horrific story... We gave them ample time to refund us, but nothing happened. To add insult to injury, the former culinary director who promised to cater to my father's specific dietary needs as a diabetic was fired (not a shock). Instead of healthy meals, they gave him cupcakes during another resident's birthday celebration! Because of this carelessness, they risked my dad's health. His first meal there consisted of greasy, deep-fried fish and fries, complete with a dessert! He was frequently rushed to the hospital because his blood sugar levels shot up to dangerous levels near 400! To top it all off, there were two residents bearing the same name, and my father had freshly undergone hip surgery...

"Unacceptable Care, Ignored Concerns, Owed Refunds at Assisted Living Facility"
The level of care provided at this establishment is terrible. The caretakers communicate with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients in a quite harsh manner. My father's wardrobe was cluttered with used diapers and dirty clothes. His blood sugar had risen to dangerously high levels, and he is a diabetic! His health went downhill rapidly here. Unfortunately, he didn't last long at all in this facility. Besides, the community owes me over $3000 in refunds but nobody seems to be acknowledging my calls. The leadership doesn't respond when you voice your worries. Instead of providing the required care, they'd rather send your relatives in an ambulance which results in more bills for you to pay. The lack of competence among the staff is astonishing.

"Expensive but friendly assisted living facility with similar-sized rooms."
We visited Charter Senior Living of Hermitage while searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. The residents and staff were friendly. However, it cost more than our other top choice, and the rooms seemed similar in size. Ultimately, our loved one chose the other facility we had toured.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I think the way they serve the food is nice. It looks like there are lots of activities for residents to do, and the staff really try to get residents involved. The nurse who works at night is really difficult to understand when talking to our family on the phone.

"Unfair Charter Villa Contract; Bad Care, Bullying and Neglect."
The new Director is great, he's got his hands full though. The Sales Manager smiles until you sign the contract, then poof, forgets you. I brought my mom to check the place out. We thought, maybe not now. My mom had some health worries her doctors and I were sorting out. I told the stand-in salesperson that I was her legal guardian. After we left, a resident guilted her into going back and forced her mom to sign a contract, even though they knew I was her guardian. They don't check the health of incoming residents. For real, my mom couldn't remember things properly at the time. She should not have been given a contract behind my back. The living quarters are shabby and dated. There's a resident who's a full-on bully. The management knows about her, but don't care. I shifted my mom to another facility, and guess what, she’s loving it and is doing great.

"Older Assisted Living Lacks Vibrancy"
We visited in person, and the community seemed nice, but it's an older place. It didn't feel very lively, and the tour lacked excitement.

"She loves Charter Senior Living and enjoys daily activities."
Our loved one quickly liked Charter Senior Living. She hasn’t complained about the food at all. There are always fun activities every day. She is very happy there, so we are happy with our choice.
