"Friendly staff, lots of activities, some food concerns; overall recommend."

The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered lots of activities. However, they served too many sandwiches to less active residents. Overall, they did well, and I would recommend them to others.

"Assisted Living Facility: Staffing Concerns and Meal Variety Feedback"

During the end of our loved one's stay, there weren't enough staff members available. Our main issue was with the meals—they served too many sandwiches, mostly every night. People who aren't very active shouldn't have so much bread in their diets.

"American House Needs More Staff and Better Food"

Steer clear of American House. Although the CNAs were nice, they didn't appear to have enough help. They need to step it up by hiring more workers, sticking to state rules, and getting good chefs who use healthy ingredients.

"Not the Right Fit for Our Loved One"

Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and as soon as we stepped inside, it felt like a nursing home. We immediately realized it wasn't the right place for our loved one.

"Staff attentive, food needs work, care excellent at American House"

During my first visit, the staff paid attention to what I had to say. They didn't just give a flashy sales pitch. The people who work at American House are great. The food choices could be better, though. The staff really cares about making sure the residents are doing well.

"Basic needs met, felt like a sales pitch"

This was an okay place. They didn't accept my loved one because of medical notes from another place. It felt more like a sales pitch to fill rooms. The basic care needs are met.

"Quick Placement with Caring Staff, Mixed Food Reviews"

They have really nice people there, and everyone is friendly. The main nurse is really great. They do a good job with taking care of my loved one, and they always make sure they go to meals. However, my loved one doesn't really like the food. They offer lots of things to do. It costs a lot of money. I chose this place because I needed to find somewhere quickly, and they were one of the first places we contacted. They got my loved one in there very fast and took care of everything right away.

"Spotless Community with Caring Staff"

I’ve suggested this community to others. The staff communicate well with families about changes concerning our loved ones. They’re super friendly and genuinely try to meet residents’ needs. The place is spotless. They serve three meals a day, plus snacks. If there’s something my loved one doesn’t like, they’ll do their best to accommodate.

"Adjusting Well, Great Place Recommended for Families"

Our loved one is still getting used to the changes and settling in, but everything is going well so far. We don't have any complaints. American House was recommended to us, and we would recommend it to other families looking for a good community for their loved ones.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

This community is nice, and my loved one feels comfortable here. However, the food needs improvement—smaller portions and too many sandwiches. It’s disappointing for both residents and families. Perhaps the kitchen staff is understaffed.
