"Friendly Staff, But Lacking Activities"
The staff is super friendly, always trying their best. But there just aren't enough of them. My main gripe? Not enough activities.

"Review of Assisted Living Facility: Friendly Staff, Room for Improvement"
Staff is nice, but often understaffed. Kitchen needs improvement; rent expensive, causing concerns of leaving.

"Attentive Staff Ensure Husband's Comfort in Assisted Living"
My husband is very happy at this place. The people who work here take good care of him and make sure he has everything he needs. I think this is a great place for him to live.

"Poor Experience at American House Lebanon"
My family member used to live at American House Lebanon, and our experience there was pretty bad. The people who manage the place make big promises but don't follow through on what you need. The regular staff, though, were great. I spent three weeks complaining about my loved one's TV not being set up, but it never happened. There were so many issues, and asking for help didn't make a difference. I definitely wouldn't recommend American House Lebanon.

"Attentive Staff and Good Care"
This place is good for patients with Alzheimer's. The staff are attentive and respectful. I'd recommend it.

Nice tour. Place is clean. Location’s a bit tricky.

"Family Tour Experience: Good, but Not Ideal for Loved One"
We went on a tour at American House Lebanon. It was okay, but not the right fit for our family member. We weren't fully happy with how they did things, but they might have improved since then.

"Friendly Staff, Slow Response to Falls"
While our family member was at American House, we really liked the staff—they were super nice. We wish we could have figured something out. But, we think they need to get better at responding quickly when residents fall and need help.

"Friendly Staff, Occasional Understaffing"
The staff at American House Lebanon are friendly and helpful, doing their best to meet residents’ needs. However, occasional understaffing is a concern, so having a friend or family member visit regularly is a good idea.

"Community Seemed Fine, But No Space for Loved One"
The place looked nice, but they didn't have room for my family member, so I didn't think much about it.

"Great staff, good activities, and food—needs some upgrades"
The staff is great. They care a lot and give my loved one plenty of attention. There are many activities to keep her busy and good food to keep her well-fed. The facility could use some upgrades like new carpets, but they are working on it. Overall, it's a good place.

"Convenient Location, Good Care: Recommended Assisted Living for Families"
The place where this community is located is really handy for our family. The care services have been pretty good up to now. We haven't eaten there ourselves or seen the dining hall much, but our loved one hasn't said anything bad about the meals, so we think they're good. From what we've seen so far, we would suggest the American House community to other families.

"Needs Improvement in Care"
This place isn't what I expected. The food was okay at first. But the care my loved one gets isn't right. They don't take him back to his room when he falls asleep in someone else's. When I visit, there's no staff around. We had to find someone to clean him up after an accident. Patients are often alone. They should help him brush his teeth. I don't feel good about him staying there. They don't communicate with family.

"Elmcroft's Staffing Challenges"
I'm not sure if I'd recommend Elmcroft, but they seem understaffed. At night, there are around 20 residents and only 2 nurses, so it's tough for them to check on everyone. I brought a pitcher, but the director said they couldn't fill it. Overall, it might be time for my loved one to come home. She's improved during her stay, but it hasn't been the best fit.

"Shoddy Care: POOR Facility And Mean Staff"
Truly terrible, HORRIBLE overseeing. Few workers are mean to residents {although not everyone}, it's dirty all the way from the floor to the roof. They can't seem to keep their staff, including nurses, for more than two weeks at a time. The upkeep is shoddy and things are always disorganized on EVERY operation level.

"Brief stay, but a good experience."
Our short time at Elmcroft of Lebanon was pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facility was clean and well managed. My only suggestion is to add more meal variety.

"Seemed like a welcoming place!"
I visited this community when considering care options for a family member. The place was clean, well-maintained, and the staff I met were friendly and professional. Although my loved one didn't move in due to health reasons, it's definitely worth checking out!

"Dreadful Experience, Massively Understaffed Facility"
Steer clear! My family member had a terrible experience here. The staff, while friendly and kind, is stretched far too thin. There were times when my relative's clothes didn't get changed or they missed baths for days. No one addressed this issue. The turnover rate is sky-high, likely due to the team being worn out. When you visit for a tour, they make it look perfect, but it's definitely not. If you feel like wasting your money every month, this is the perfect spot!

"Understaffed Facility Neglects Basic Care"
Stay away from this place! My family member stayed here and it was horrible. Sure, the staff members are nice and try their best to help, but there just aren't enough of them. My relative would go several days without a bath or getting their clothes changed, despite our complaints. The staff keeps changing because they are so tired from not having enough help. They make it look like everything is perfect when you go on the facility tour, but that couldn't be further from the truth. If you're okay with wasting your money each month, then sure, pick this place!

"Overall Satisfaction with Clean Facility but Limited Male Activities"
We're quite pleased with the place. It's super clean. The staff is really nice. Dad's been a bit bored since most activities are for ladies. But they're really helpful, finding him stuff he likes to do and feels useful doing. He's not a fan of the food. They said there would be options, but I haven't seen that yet. And there aren't even salt shakers on the tables.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Let's start with the not-so-great stuff. People can roam around the place freely, which means they can enter other rooms and take things that don't belong to them. My dad's roommate keeps putting his clothes in my dad's closet and chest, and it's frustrating because Dad keeps losing stuff like belts, socks, and handkerchiefs. I wish they'd do something about it because it's not fair to keep having things stolen. Now, onto the positive side. The staff is really nice to everyone. They know all the residents and their families, which makes it feel like a friendly community.

"Elmcroft's Kindness Made My Decision Easy"
When I first talked to them, they were really comforting. I wasn't sure if any place could take care of my mom, but they even gave me other options besides their own facility. The kindness from everyone made it easy for me to choose their care for my mom.

"New Director at Elmcroft Amidst Multiple Issues"
Our experience with Elmcroft hasn't been great, mainly due to problems with the staff and overall community. It seems like the staff aren't as attentive or respectful with some residents as they should be. And whenever an emergency call button is pushed, it takes an hour before anyone even responds. We've also had a few cases where staff members treated our loved one rudely. We've dealt with plenty of issues here. However, they just got a new director, who seems to be genuine about wanting to make improvements. Still, at this point, we wouldn't recommend Elmcroft to anyone. We're hoping for positive changes though.
