Foxbridge Assisted Living & Memory Care

"Mixed feelings: Affordable but consider alternatives for better care."
Foxbridge is okay and cheaper than many other places. However, I moved my husband to the Veterans Home in Oxford, and it's a lot better there. If you're considering Foxbridge, spend time in the cottage where your family member will stay. There are significant differences. I'd suggest Foxbridge only to people who are mainly worried about the cost of memory care.

"Disappointed with Memory Care - Insufficient Skilled Nursing Support"
They shouldn't have taken my loved one because they weren't suited for Level Cottage care they put them in Memory Care Cottage. My loved one couldn't walk, but their mind is sharp. It wasn't the right choice, but they didn't want a Nursing Home. They needed more skilled nursing care than the staff could handle, and the night staff was awful to them. I think my loved one shouldn't have chosen this place.

"Inadequate Communication and Accessibility Issues"
It can be difficult to get answers sometimes. They won't let us plug in our hearing devices to charge. This is important because it helps patients feel less worried if they can hear and talk to the staff. They should understand this especially since it's a memory care unit.

"Assisted Living Review Summary"
My dad’s room was always tidy! The staff was super helpful and did their best for my dad. Overall, I felt satisfied with this facility. The assisted-living area was clean, modern, and cheerful. However, the memory care unit was older, and the carpet needed immediate replacement. During my tour, they didn’t show me the memory care unit, but assured me all units were the same. I was surprised by the carpet’s condition. The staff kept things clean and were responsive to my requests. When we brought in hospice, they collaborated closely. Most importantly, they treated my dad with respect and dignity.

"Friendly Community and Caring Staff"
The people who work here really make it feel like a community. They are patient and truly care about the people who live here. I would tell anyone looking for a place like this to check out Foxbridge.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The neighborhood around the facility doesn't look great. There's a welding shop across the street, and lots of trucks and vehicles parked nearby. The facility itself is nicely landscaped with a pond, fountain, flowers, and trees. It has several self-contained cottages for different levels of care. However, some services require residents to leave their building, like Sunday worship or haircuts. Since the cottages are only half full, finding the nurse can be tricky. Also, there was a water leak under the sidewalk near our cottage. It's been wet and unsafe. While they've tried to help, we're still disappointed.

"Foxbridge: Needs Improvements, Disappointed with Staff Responsiveness"
I didn't like Foxbridge much. The place looks old and needs fixing up. Inside and outside, it's not nice to look at. They said they have enough staff, but it didn't seem like it. When I went to check out a room, it was dusty and had cobwebs. And they didn't call me back when they said they would.

"Caring Staff, Good Food, Weekend Care Needs Work"
We really liked this place. The people who work there are super nice and kind. My mom was happy with the meals she got. But I think they need to do better on weekends. The only problem we had was during the weekend. My mom had a fall and nobody told us about it.

"Separate houses and high cost deterred our selection at Foxbridge."
We visited Foxbridge. We didn't pick it because they have separate houses, which made us uneasy, and it was too pricey.

"Older Facility, Dated Interior; Chose Another Community"
I visited Foxbridge Assisted Living & Memory Care; it was alright. We picked a different place because Foxbridge looked older, and the inside seemed a bit old-fashioned.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I mostly like this place, but not enough staff. Some workers are great, others not so much. They don't all do their job right, but some go above and beyond. Communication's okay. They offer bingo, crafts, outings, music, and outdoor fun.

"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facility Services"
This place hasn't been great. They struggle to help my family member with simple tasks like changing clothes. Plus, the director doesn't communicate well. Overall, not satisfied.
