"Well-Equipped Assisted Living Near School and Church"

Owned by Grace Baptist Church, this assisted living facility is next to Davidson Academy. There's a piano in the common area. The building has an H-shape with easy exits. It has a dining room and a courtyard with a gazebo. You can choose a studio or one-bedroom apartment, which is unfurnished. The units have kitchenettes and bathrooms with handicapped accessible showers, safety bars, and dual spray. The floors are carpet and linoleum. A nurse is available 24 hours a day. There's a hair salon open every Thursday. They also have rooms for activities, a spa with two soaking tubs, and a rehab room. They do an annual fire drill in 8 minutes, which is faster than the required 13 minutes.

"'Awful Experience at Assisted Living, Poor Food and Management.'"

This place is terrible for my 93-year-old mom! We're relieved we got her out of there. The management was mean and didn't seem to care about her family. The food was just plain bad. I strongly recommend talking to the residents before you even think about picking this place they have the nerve to call "home.

"Spotless and Enjoyable!"

I really like how clean and well-maintained this community is. Whenever I visit, it’s spotless with a fresh smell. My mom enjoys the food and activities. No complaints so far—I’d recommend it!

"Assisted Living Facility Tour: Mixed Feelings About Services Offered"

The tour of this place was okay. The community seemed nice, but it felt more like a hospital. My aunt is disabled and can't feed herself. She likes eating in her room, but they said they can't bring her meals there. Also, she needs some help with personal care, which they said would cost more. The tour was good, but it's not the right place for my aunt.

"Not Ideal for Us"

My visit to this place was okay. The community seemed nice, but it felt a bit like an institution. Unfortunately, they couldn’t bring meals to my aunt’s room, and extra care came with an added cost. Overall, it wasn’t the right fit for her.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

This place had a cozy, small setting. The staff was great, and the rooms were decent. The building layout wasn't my favorite.

"Mixed Feelings about Cozy Assisted Living Community"

This place was pretty cozy, like hanging out with family. It's one of the smallest places I've visited. The staff was great and knew their stuff. The rooms were alright, not the best I've seen. But I wasn't a fan of how the building was set up.

"Convenient Location, Worried about Neighborhood, Appreciate Newness"

This place is in a good spot for them, which is nice. But I'm a little worried about the area around it. It's good that it's newer, though.

"Good Facility, Staff Failure Surprisingly Spoils Experience"

Generally, Grace Manor did fine in terms of care and its own facilities. The place was really attractive, spotless, and had truly friendly and helpful staff. But, my close relative ended up in the hospital and was keen on going back to Grace Manor. They said they would send someone to reassess her health to see if she could go back, but that person never came. That left a pretty bad taste in my mouth from this ordeal.

"Beautiful Assisted Living with Short-Term Benefits"

Costs are similar to Homewood, around $2800 for a studio. They have semi-private rooms and keep us informed about move-in deals. The facility is beautiful, and the staff has great relationships with residents. It's a big help for our short-term financial situation, but not suitable for the long term.

"Beautiful Assisted Living Facility with Affordable Pricing"

Similar to Homewood, this assisted living facility costs $2800 for a studio. They also have semi-private rooms and will inform me about upcoming move-in specials. The facility is beautiful, with a great relationship between staff and residents. It would help with our short-term financial situation, but unfortunately, we can't stay long-term.
