"Caring Staff and Fun Activities Make Living Enjoyable"
The workers are nice and always cheerful. The nurses are caring and come when you need them. Maintenance fixes things quickly when there's a problem. The activity planners try to offer fun things for everyone's different interests. Most of the time the food is good, but I think there's too much breaded and fried food. I'd like to have some shrimp scampi sometimes instead of lots of tiny fried ones.it is a great director who works hard to make things better.

"Reliable Care and Comfort at This Assisted Living Facility"
I was happy with my experience here. The staff were nice and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. It's a good place for seniors who need some extra help with daily tasks. Overall, I would recommend it to others.

"Great Assisted Living Facility with Room for Food Improvements"
The staff members are friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The LPNs are caring and respond promptly when needed. Maintenance quickly addresses any issues. Activity directors aim to provide entertainment for various preferences. While most of the food is good, I'd prefer less breaded and fried options and occasional shrimp scampi instead of tiny fried ones. Director is excellent and committed to improvement.

"Steer Clear of Communities Managed by This Corporation"
I strongly advise against choosing this residence. The company operating this place left me with a terrible impression. I believe they don't manage their facilities well. I wouldn't suggest picking any home managed by this corporation.

"A Professional Tour"
The tour was okay. I met friendly people, and our guide was helpful. The place seemed nice, but it didn’t meet our needs.

"Nice Director, Clean Facility, Tough Food, Depressing Dining Room"
The director of the place is really nice and knowledgeable. However, the dining area in the assisted living section is kind of sad. As for the staff, they are great at keeping the place clean but the food, particularly the meat, is hard to chew.

"Clean, Friendly, and Tasty Food!"
I had a really nice visit to this place. The tour guide was super nice and friendly. The place itself looked awesome, all neat and tidy. The people who work there were really welcoming and ready to help. They have a lot of things you can do. And let me tell you, the food was really yummy. It's definitely a great place to be.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
This place seemed good when I heard about it from my advisor and talked with Shana, but it wasn't right for my mom when I went there. The memory care unit is in the lower part of the building, and even though there are windows up high in the living and dining area, it still feels like a basement, in my opinion. I also didn't like that there isn't a registered nurse there all the time, though there's always one available by phone. Other than that, the place seemed nice.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
This place seemed promising based on what my advisor said and my conversation with Shana. However, when I visited in person, it didn't feel right for my mom. The memory care unit was downstairs, and even though there were high windows in the living/dining area, it still had a basement-like vibe. I also didn't like that there wasn't an RN available 24/7, although there's always one on call. Overall, the facility appeared nice.

"Clean, cozy, and caring; loved one enjoys food!"
I think River Oaks Place does a good job overall. The people here are really nice, and the place is clean, neat, and comfy. My loved one really seems to like the food, and she's usually really picky about what she eats!

"Mixed Experience at River Oaks Assisted Living"
I liked River Oaks, but my loved one's stay was short. The place is beautiful, always clean and nice-smelling. The Wellness Director wasn't impressive, nor in handling my loved one. Yet, the Director is great, and other staff were helpful and friendly. They tried hard to make it work. Overall, they do a good job here and are worth considering.

"A Hidden Gem"
I really liked River Oaks, but my loved one's stay was short. The facility is beautiful, always clean, and smells nice. Unfortunately, the Wellness Director didn't impress us with how she handled my loved one. On the bright side, the Director is amazing, and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. They worked hard to make things better for us. Overall, River Oaks is definitely worth considering!

"Good care, clean, best pricing, few activities, accommodating food."
We stayed for 3 weeks, and in that short time, they were very loving and caring. The inside was very clean, but the patio could have been a little cleaner. They had the best pricing we found. There were no other men there. They only had activities twice a week. The food was about a four; there were a few things he didn’t like, but they were very accommodating. They were very willing to help with his health problems, which most others weren't.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The rooms and facility are spacious, pleasant, and clean. Although it's listed as independent/assisted/alzheimer's, the staff seems more focused on 'assisted' care. Food options tend to be red meats and starches, but we weren't given a menu when we asked. Prices are similar to Echo Ridge, but it lacks the warm family feeling. The location is a drawback for us.
