"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"

I'd give it zero stars if I could. The workers always change and seem like they don't care or know what they're doing. I wouldn't choose The Lodge unless I had no other choice for my family. There's arguing and problems every day, and the people living there aren't the main focus. My Aunt didn't have a good time here. It's old-fashioned and costs too much.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Communication and Care"

My mom needed rehab, but insurance denied it. When she was released from the hospital, we called the lodge numerous times, but no one answered until a worker in the hallway picked up. They couldn't take her back due to lack of nursing care. My sister kept pushing until they agreed that if we arranged for home health care every day, Mom could return to her room. It took two hours in person to figure it out. Why didn't they answer the phone earlier? Why didn't they have another option ready? Why weren't they more caring? This was the last straw. We may need legal help.

"Good caregivers, but recent staff changes and picky food issues"

I really like all the caregivers at the facility. Recently, there was a new administration, and they mentioned that many employees are leaving. I'm not sure if that's true. I've had trouble getting my calls returned. she said she doesn’t like the food, but she can be very picky. Also, she doesn’t join in any activities.

"Abandoned After Arranging Virtual Tour at Natchez Trace Lodge"

We had arranged a digital walkthrough with The Lodge at Natchez Trace, but they ghosted us and never got back in touch afterward.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

COVID staffing issues affected ratings. Mom too active for residents. Sales staff nice, room great. Food and service poor. Staff appeared dirty and rude. Nursing services okay.

"Reasonably Caring Assisted Living with Excellent Staff"

This place is affordable, caring, and decent for your loved one. The food quality varies, but the room size and community layout are good. Outdoor space is limited, and the staff has a mix of abilities and concern. Some staff members go above and beyond, and overall, management is very good.

"Amazing Staff Treats Residents Like Family"

The staff is incredible! They treated my grandmother like family for 3 years in memory care. They kept us updated with calls. When her mind was sharper, she had lots of activities to do. They also take the residents out to different places to keep them active. The food is great, and the staff truly cares for everyone.

"Decline in Care and Staff Morale at Nursing Home"

My family member stays here. The quality of care at this place has sadly declined. The staff seems unhappy. Many of them are complaining and wanting to shift jobs elsewhere. Other families and the employees say the Nursing Director is not involved anymore. A lot of residents and their families hardly meet the new Executive Director. Such a letdown.

"Unprofessional Behavior and Broken Promises at The Lodge at Natchez Trace"

Absolutely Unsatisfactory Encounter at Assisted Living Facility!" For nearly four years, our mother relished her time at Keestone, an assisted living facility in Florence, AL. However, circumstances necessitated upgrading her care to Level 1 (Beginning to Intermediate) Memory Care. We decided to evaluate nearby facilities that offered a similar environment to Keestone. This led us to The Lodge at Natchez Trace. After a promising tour, we thought it a suitable place for our mother. Having visited 13 facilities by now, we knew the cost structure for her level of care in Nashville. The initial pricing negotiation withthe facility director, had a sense of vagueness, with a myriad of potential add ons rather than straightforward tiered plans. Nevertheless, we were pleased when offered to send a staff member to perform a dementia assessment of our mother. We coordinated calls with Keestone and The Lodge to align on information about our mother's needs. The conversation didn't quite accord with the "high flight risk" concern raised by The Lodge later which baffled us since our mother hadn't left Keestone premises without a family member in her tenure. Overcoming this confusion, we received a call on from expressing their willingness to accept our mother. But when we called back to renegotiate the monthly rate of $4,829 to fit our budget, was unavailable. I waited until 3:02 PM and called back again. He remained unavailable, and so, I requested to reach out to our mother's physical therapist to ensure the proper care pricing. Despite this, we received a call from at 3:56 PM, flatly denying acceptance due to a "high flight risk". This complete U-turn from the morning's voicemail was baffling. In discussing this with, she confirmed that only and her had conversed. I didn't hear back fromdespite asking for a call back, which was truly unprofessional. This two-day ordeal resulted from significant missteps; firstly, didn't keep his word on performing an assessment on our mother. Secondly, there was aegue information and unaddressed concerns.

"Welcoming Community for Seniors"

My mom's fitting in well here. She likes the activities, met folks, and the staff are friendly and caring. The place is clean, too. Food's enjoyable. I'd suggest it.

"Beautiful Facility with Great Amenities but Limited Medical Care"

This place was really pretty and had cool stuff for everyone living there. The people who worked there were helpful and taught my family member and me a lot. The rooms were big and had plenty of room, which was awesome. But they couldn't help my brother with his medical needs.

"Good food, friendly staff, clean facility, reliable for respite care."

The facility is clean with generally friendly staff. We only stayed for three weeks, but it was good overall with no major complaints. The air handling system was noisy sometimes, but it wasn't a problem for a short stay. The food was really good, and the chef was very helpful with specific food needs. For our purposes of respite care, we'd likely use The Lodge again.

"Avoid This Unfriendly and Understaffed Assisted Living Facility"

The leaders at this facility seem overly cautious and avoidant. If they notice you approaching, they'll circumvent to enter from a different entrance. I must give a nod to the nursing team; they are truly fantastic. The woman in charge, however, is very cold and clinical; far from personal. There's lacking a sense of warmth and welcoming, the corridors too are bare and cold. They constantly justify the housekeeping shortcomings by getting by on the cheap. They've only one person to cover all repairs who is clearly overworked, despite the facility being new.

"Excellent Care and Friendly Staff"

The facility is very nice and clean. The staff takes great care of my loved one. I highly recommend this place. I gave it a 5-star rating. The staff is very friendly, and I rated their friendliness 5 stars too. The value is very important, and I rated it 5 stars.

"Friendly Staff, Great Food, But Needs More Help"

The place is awesome, except they need more workers. The food tastes super good, and they have activities for my mom to join if she wants. Also, they provide transportation if it's needed. The building is simple but nice, just a year old

"The Lodge: Assess Carefully - Several Issues to Consider"

If you're contemplating choosing the Lodge, you might want to reflect on a few points: 1. The ability of the director to run things effectively 2. Noticing that a significant number of staff members are smokers 3. The type and standard of education that their healthcare professionals and all the other members of staff receive 4. The proficiency and level of care provided by the nurses 5. The range and quality of social or recreational activities 6. Their ability to handle emergencies or crises 7. Lack of appropriate dietary regulations for the residents 8. The resources and staff allocation of their memory care unit

"Memory care could be better at the Lodge"

We've run into several problems with The Lodge at Natchez Trace, mainly from the folk in the memory care area. I believe the workers there should be more learned about the troubles their patients are dealing with. Aside from that, it seems like a nice place. It's tidy, well-maintained, and people in the assisted living area look cared for pretty well.

"Perfect Assisted Living with Top-Notch Amenities"

This place is the best we visited. From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing. They showed us around the whole place and eventually took us to the rooms where our parents will live. Everything was even better than we expected. The place feels like a fancy resort, and all the amenities are perfect for their age. We are so happy our parents are living at The Lodge.
