"Transitioning Staff and Organization Affects Caring Quality"
This community was older, and the staff had moved to a new location. It felt less caring and organized than I expected for my loved one.

"Impressive care and cleanliness; more activities and church service desired."
I recommend this community for loved ones. The price, care, and cleanliness impress us. More activities and a Sunday church service would enhance resident experience.

"Dad Suffers in Negligent Assisted Living Facility"
When my father first moved into this facility, it seemed great. But there were too many falls without any explanation. It got so bad that we had to move him to Nashville. When I saw him, it looked like he had been mistreated. So I decided to move him closer to me. That's when we found out his hip was broken. After he had surgery, the doctor said his hip had been broken for over a month. Thanks a lot, Walking Horse, for your so-called 'care'!

"Nice place with friendly people, but a bit pricey."
We visited this community and liked it a lot. They have many nice things to offer, like activities and amenities. The staff we met were friendly and willing to help. They're trying to find a way to accommodate us, but it's pricier than what we were hoping for. Still, it's worth checking out.

"Peace of Mind"
The place is nice. The staff is very friendly, and it's clean. I'm not sure if my mom participates in their activities due to Alzheimer's, but I feel at ease knowing she's taken care of at Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville, TX. The food looks good, and the staff listens to my mom's needs and requests. Overall, we're happy with the services.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Clean and Comfortable Assisted Living, Minor Reception Area Issues"
She gave us lots of helpful information, and the place was clean and smelled good. The residents seemed comfortable. We saw rooms with and without furniture to understand how much can fit in them. Dad liked it and will decide after a respite stay in June, if we can arrange it. The only issue was there isn't a front reception desk. Also, the office spaces didn't really oversee the front entrance.

"same as Sterling House... spoke with Director"
Like Sterling House, I talked to the Director (who is wonderful!). She and the admin director will evaluate things. They want to find a way to get him into the Assisted Living section and on the waiting list for the Memory Care unit. Please make this happen! I really enjoyed the tour. It's a place that truly understands dementia and its different stages. The facilities are clean, bright, and 'happy,' and most importantly, it gives a good, peaceful feeling!
