Wellington Place

"Highly recommend Wellington for care and comfort!"
Wellington Place is a wonderful assisted living facility. My aunt lived there for nearly 4 years, and they provided her with a great experience, treating her with respect in every way possible. Even during her time in hospice care, they made sure she was treated with dignity and comfort, making her last days peaceful. It's hard to decide when a loved one needs more care than we can provide at home. I'm convinced that the care Wellington gave her added extra years to her life that we wouldn’t have had if she stayed at our home. The owner and her team are amazing and always made us feel welcome when we visited. We highly recommend Wellington Place Assisted Living!

"Subpar Assisted Living: Affordable but Unkempt and Unpleasant"
I stayed at Wellington Place after a brain injury. It was the cheapest option around. But you get what you pay for. The manager, a nurse from another country, and the owner, an M.D. from the same place, are married. The place looks nice from outside, like other buildings in Maryland Farms. But inside, it’s a mess. It used to be a motel. The care and meals were terrible. They say there’s an indoor pool, but it’s filthy and unused. I’m glad I had somewhere to stay, but this place isn’t good at all.

"Great place with caring staff and reasonable pricing."
Wellington may not be the fanciest place, but it's clean, bright, and the staff is caring and experienced. Its smaller size helps them understand each resident's needs. We moved Mom there about a month ago, and she is very happy and has settled in well. The cost is also very reasonable for assisted living. We couldn’t have found it without our adviser from A Place for Mom. She was very patient and knowledgeable. We’re so glad we found her and Wellington Place.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
We visited this place while considering care options for our family member. The staff we talked to were helpful and caring, and we appreciated the active residents. However, the rooms felt a bit cramped for the cost.

"Director and staff are helpful; Mom is improving at Wellington Place"
When I took Mom there, the director really listened to me. She helped me understand how to best care for Mom. Even though Mom says otherwise, she's doing better at Wellington Place. The staff is very helpful and tries to connect with her.

"Great care and effort in making my mother feel welcome"
Wellington Place went the extra mile to make my mother feel at home. They carefully prepared her room before she moved in.

"Homey Assisted Living with Personal Touches"
This assisted living place has smaller rooms, and they don't charge for giving out medications. You can get help by pushing a button on your neck. It's a bit of a walk to get to the dining area, especially since you might need to pass the pool. The building has two floors, so you might have to take an elevator and walk a bit. They also offer extra services like help with bathing. This place isn't owned by a big company. They want you to grow spiritually, which they encourage.

The place wasn't as cozy as I hoped, but the boss lady was super nice and showed us around well
