"Comfortable and Convenient Choice for Seniors"
We chose this community because it's close to my home and smaller, which made my mother feel more comfortable. I think others would like it too.

"Gloomy Assisted Living Facility with Pushy Sales Lady"
Out of all the places we visited, this assisted living facility felt really gloomy. It was dark inside and had an unpleasant smell. Plus, the sales lady was super pushy.

"Great Service Despite Missed Tour"
I really wanted to visit this place, but Hurricane Harvey made it impossible. Still, the lady who offered to show me around (I can’t remember her name, unfortunately) was super nice. Even though they had already evacuated their residents, she agreed to give me a tour so I could see everything. Unfortunately, the place got flooded before I could take the tour. But she was incredibly kind and even helped me find an alternative for my dad.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living Facility"
This place was amazing! I've never felt so welcomed before. After just three days, the staff knew my dad's name. They really take the time to know you and introduce you to others. They always let you know about activities and encourage you to join. Plus, the food is tasty!

"Close to Home: Assessing Local Assisted Living Community"
My relative moved into this place to get the help they need. They're staying in the memory care area and the tests went smoothly to figure out if it's right for her. I chose this place because I wanted to stay near my family. It's close enough that I can see it from my house.

"Amazing staff and happy residents, but a bit far"
The incentives were awesome! I loved everything about this place. The staff was super friendly, and the residents seemed really happy, just like Solana. The prices were good, and the floor plans were nice. The only downside was that it was a bit far from us.

I liked the tour for the care my mom needed. The staff were nice, and the community was clean. The meals looked appealing, and the variety of activities would have been helpful for my mom. Families should consider touring this community for the care of a loved one, as it offers good value.

"Wonderful Place for Loved Ones"
This community has been a real blessing for my family. My father-in-law is doing great and loves it here. They take amazing care of him and his needs. The staff is wonderful. At first, we moved both my in-laws in, but sadly, my mother-in-law passed away a few days later. They were very supportive during that time. Everyone, from the administration to the dining staff, is great. The residents are also very kind and love living here. I highly recommend this lovely community.

"Good Overall, But Night Care Needs Improvement"
The Atria was very nice for my mom's short stay. I was happy with everything except the night care. I made it clear that my mom needed to get up at night to use the bathroom, sometimes often. They said help would come in less than 7 minutes. But she usually waited 30 to 45 minutes. I was disappointed and upset that this happened so much. Otherwise, the place was great.

"Friendly Staff in Quiet Assisted Living Facility"
I visited this place second and everyone seemed super friendly and helpful. The lady I talked to knew what she was talking about and gave me advice on finding senior living places. It's located in a great and peaceful spot. The place was tidy and smelled fresh. But, it could use a little modern touch-up.

"Not the Right Fit, but Communities Were Nice"
We checked out many places, including this one. I liked all the communities we saw, and the people were friendly here too. However, it doesn't seem like the right place for us because my loved ones prefer to stay at home.

"Unpleased With Experience at Atria Cypresswood"
We experienced serious problems here. It was our initial attempt after my relative was diagnosed with dementia. Atria Cypresswood assured us they could manage her problems, but it turned out they couldn't. We found ourselves getting midnight phone calls requiring us to attend to our loved one, and within a month they ended our agreement and instructed us to leave. I accept her required care level wasn't suitable for their facility, but they dealt badly with the whole situation.

"Atria helps with safety, meals, and activities for dementia care"
We found Atria while searching for a good place for our mom who has dementia. We were worried about her safety, eating, and taking her medication. She was also sleeping a lot. The staff at Atria understand our worries and are working to get her involved in activities and ensure she eats and takes her meds. She's still sleeping a lot, but it's getting better, and we hope she'll keep improving with the staff's help.

The common areas looked nice, and we even got to see some of the activities happening. Plus, they offer several dining options.

"Great care, but not close enough and billing issues"
They did a great job, even though we had some issues. We liked everyone there and they were very kind to her. When she had a stroke, they got her to the hospital really fast, but we wished she was closer to us. She loved playing bingo and joined in on all the exercise and entertainment activities. The food was good at dinner too. We did have some trouble with billing because they charged us for care she wasn't getting since she wasn’t there, but they eventually sorted it out and gave us a refund, though it was a bit of a hassle.

"Nice facility, but extra care may become costly"
Nice facility with a stable staff. It's well maintained and has a good environment for people with mild memory issues. However, my wife and I felt that her dad would struggle here. We thought his care needs would increase quickly, making it expensive for our family over time.

"Understanding staff, warm atmosphere; Atria's a top choice."
This place is really nice and friendly. The boss and staff were very nice and they seemed to really understand what my mom needs right now. Atria is the first place I've checked out, but it's already one of my top choices because of where it's located.

"Friendly staff, small place, pricey studio rooms"
We had a tour with the activity director who was very nice. The place was small, with just 40 residents, and a separate memory wing that had over 100 residents. The staff was extremely friendly. However, the only rooms available were studio apartments, which were quite small and very expensive—over $4000 a month.
