"Great Food and Friendly Staff at Monarch"
Monarch at Richardson is a nice place. My dad enjoyed the food a lot. The staff were really nice.

"Good care but issues with tracking personal items"
We chose Monarch at Richardson because it's conveniently close to my brother. They keep her active in the memory care unit with games, exercise classes, and reading. Her room is private and a good size. The only downside is they've misplaced almost all her belongings, even though everything is labeled. It would be great if they could better track her personal items.

"Assisted Living Excels, Memory Care Lags"
We’ve had two family members join this community—one in assisted living and the other in memory care. Assisted living is great, but memory care falls short. The staff is friendly and cooperative, but if your loved one has advanced dementia, steer clear of memory care. They don’t accommodate those with mild dementia. Assisted living, on the other hand, provides loving and passionate care. Residents receive diligent COVID precautions, and the facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
