"Mixed Impressions at Assisted Living Facility"
I visited this community, but I wasn't impressed. It wasn't as clean as other places we saw, and the rooms weren't easy to use. The staff was okay, and our tour guide knew a lot. Still, I didn't feel great about it.

"Energetic director, great care, some concerns about outside influence"
The activities director is super energetic and amazing! There were some worries about outside people coming in to talk politics with the residents. The caregivers do a great job taking care of my loved one. The community also works well with hospice and other outside agencies. Overall, I’m very happy with the community.

"Caring Staff but Room for Improvement in Safety Measures"
We like Autumn Oaks overall. Recently, our family member wandered outside and fell because they got confused during a Covid lockdown. However, most of the staff are friendly and are taking good care of her.

"Great Care and Clean Facility at Autumn Oaks"
My mom has been at Autumn Oaks of Corinth for over a year and a half. The place is beautiful, clean, and bright. Her unit is small but just right. The staff put in new carpet when she moved in. We hired painters to repaint the walls a neutral color. I was allowed to hang a TV on the wall and I pay for her cable. The staff is helpful and friendly. My mom is well taken care of. The meals are good and enough. Medication is given on time.

"Autumn Oaks refuses death notice deposit refund; prioritizes profit"
My mom was at Autumn Oaks until she died She spent her last one and a half months at a different health place not linked to Autumn Oaks. They won't give back her deposit because she didn't give a 30 days warning about her death. But, really, can anyone give a 30 days heads up about dying? We returned the apartment three days after mom passed away, and it was 15 days before her lease ended. The apartment was vacant for 45 days and we still paid the rent. These people seem to care more about money than their residents. That's not fair!

"Unfair Money Grab During Grief"
Everything seemed fine until the end. My mom died on October 13, 2016. She was in a different health facility than Autumn Oaks for a month and a half before she died. Because my mom couldn't tell them 30 days ahead that she was going to die, the managers didn't give her deposit back to her family. I wonder, how can someone give a month's notice of their death? We returned the apartment three days after my mom passed and two weeks before the lease ended. The place was empty for 45 days, but we still paid the rent. The people running this place care more about making money than anything else. It's just unbelievable!!

"Avoid Autumn Oaks Assisted Living"
My parents moved into Autumn Oaks assisted living at the end of 2011. At first, everything was great—the staff was wonderful, and the food was awesome. But things changed when new managers took over. The staff turnover rate was high, and the food quality declined. They even made my mother move out. Sadly, she passed away seven months later. This place claims to be for aging in place, but it's not true. Now they're raising the rent by $800 a month for my father. The director avoids responsibility. Avoid this place!

"Steer Clear of Autumn Oaks Assisted Living"
My parents relocated to Autumn Oaks assisted living at 2011's finale. Everything was initially going smoothly. The staff were wonderful, the food, delicious. A month in, new managers took over and everything fell apart. The employee turnover was extreme, averaging four a week. The competent ones left for better roles. The meals became truly unpleasant. They essentially evicted my mother because of her care needs. This separation from my father brought about the beginning of her decline, and she passed seven months later. Autumn Oaks is meant to be a home for aging, but only if you conform to their rules. They're now attempting to increase my father's rent by $800 a month after four years there. The director continuously shifts blame and accepts none. Absolutely avoid placing your loved ones in this facility!

"Great community, but food and transport need improvement"
Overall, we’re very happy with Autumn Oaks. It’s a nice place and they keep everything clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, and since it’s a smaller community, everyone gets to know each other. There are lots of activities to keep the residents busy. One thing to improve is the food service. It was great at first, but with the new chef, they don’t seem as willing to accommodate special dietary needs. I’d also like to see more options for individual transportation to doctors’ visits.

"Pleasant Experience at Autumn Oaks Assisted Living Facility"
We really like Autumn Oaks. It looks nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Because it's smaller, everyone knows each other. They have lots of activities. The food could be better. The new chef isn't as flexible with diets. They could offer more transportation options for doctor visits.

"Very Accommodating, Excellent Care"
The care was really good. My dad was only there for a short time before he passed away, but overall, they were a five. He had trouble swallowing, so they made special meals for him and adjusted his schedule. He didn’t like getting up early, so they gave him his meds later in the morning. They have lots of activities like bingo, trips to Wal-Mart, lunches out, church groups, and even a luau. They also had karaoke and many other things going on.

"A perfect place for Mom and Dad!"
Fabulous and perfect! I’m so happy with Autumn Oaks! My mom doesn’t join many activities, but I like the activity director and the calendar looks great. Before I found Autumn Oaks, I was really worried and sad about finding a place for my mom. This place was a blessing. I toured many facilities, and this one gave me hope that there are good people who care. We’re even moving my dad in next month! The staff from A Place for Mom was amazing. It was a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t have done it without their help!
