"Frustrating Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Upon settling in our new place, we were struck by the substandard cleanliness of the apartment. The carpet was full of spots, it was clear that proper cleaning hadn’t been done, and there was an unpleasant smell. I understand that Covid has presented some challenges, but it was evident that standards had dropped. Our living area felt squeezed, with barely enough space for basic furniture. Currently, they serve three meals daily in disposable containers which quickly fill up the tiny trash bin. Housekeeping barely empties the trash, often leaving several days' worth of garbage in the kitchen. There was an onslaught of ants in our shower that took days to be fixed after reporting. The toilet malfunctioned on several occasions. One time when we reported, the response was a vague "I'll try to find someone," but hours later the situation was still not resolved, forcing our loved one to hold it. On another day, we were stranded without toilet paper for a whole day. On the day we arrived, a staff member watched as we struggled without offering assistance until we asked. The pandemic has restricted visitors but we once caught staff members smuggling an unauthorized guest out from our porch! They promised to teach our elderly how to use the microwave but never fulfilled that promise. The service was superb while they convinced us to move in, but once we settled the impressive services vanished, save for one staff member who followed through with her duties. We wish we could have terminated our stay immediately but we had to offer 30 days' notice. This experience, which should have been a blessing to us and our loved ones, turned out to be a miserable calamity.

"Great place for Mom and Dad!"
My mom and dad love living here. They clean their big two-bedroom apartment. The staff brings them one meal daily. If they can't go to the dining area, they deliver the food to them. The staff is excellent and keeps me informed. They encourage them to join daily activities. There's a lovely porch and a walking path. I would suggest this community.
