Autumn Years Assisted Living Facility

"Nice, clean, not the right fit."
We toured Autumn Years Assisted Living Facility. It was nice and clean. The staff was friendly enough, but it didn't have the right atmosphere for us. Also, it wasn't close enough for us to visit our mom easily.

"Positive Experience at Convenient Assisted Living Community"
My family member is getting used to it. It's been good. I'm happy. I know many of the staff, which is nice. It's easy for them. My family member stays active. One great thing is that it's all on ground level. The people living there are friendly. We're happy with it until now.

"Needs More Activities and Nursing Care"
This place felt cozy and welcoming when I visited. The staff on the tour were nice and knew a lot. But it didn't seem right for my folks. The other residents seemed to need more help than they do. There weren't enough things for my parents to do—they like staying busy. And they don't have nurses around all the time, which my dad needs. We'd have to find someone else for his physical therapy, too.

"Great facility with clean, homey atmosphere and attentive care"
I visited this place yesterday and was really impressed. The facility was spotless, and the residents looked well cared for and happy. They were serving a meal with fresh, whole foods at the kitchen table, making it feel like a family gathering. The staff was very attentive to everyone. The place is located in a nice neighborhood, giving it a warm, homey vibe. It didn’t have any bad smells, just a clean, fresh scent. There was lots of light and open space for the residents to move around. I’m very interested in this facility and will be coming back to talk more about activities, ongoing care, and extra services like doctors and other activities.

"Mixed Feelings About Autumn Years ALF"
The food at Autumn Years ALF needs improvement. My mom gets good care there, but it's tough for her because most residents can't walk or talk. It's a sad situation, but the staff works hard.

"Quality Care, Room for Improvement: Autumn Years ALF Review"
At Autumn Years ALF, food could be better, but care's good. Most residents can't walk or talk, tough on mom. Prices may favor bids for private rooms. Sad situation, but staff works hard.

"Excellent care in a clean, lovely home."
My dad got great care at Autumn Years. The caregivers were quick to help and very kind. The place was always clean and nice, no matter when I visited. For the first time, I could sleep easily, knowing my dad was in good hands at Autumn Years. Anyone needing care will be lucky to be here and live in such a lovely place.

"Great choice for a cozy, friendly assisted living home"
This is a great option for a family member who needs a new home. It's a small community with fewer than 10 people. Some rooms are private, while others are shared. There are lots of staff and a friendly, home-like atmosphere.

"Mom Finds Happiness at Autumn Years"
My mom lived in four different places before we found 'Autumn Years.' It's clear that she's happier here—more calm and saner compared to the other places. They provide personalized care and one-on-one attention she needs, with quicker response times. Mom also says the food is much better here. The only thing lacking is more entertainment activities; they mostly roll residents out to the porch for the nice view or into the TV room to watch shows. Since not many other residents can speak, Mom gets a bit bored at times.

"Met director; liked the clean, friendly home with fun activities"
I met with the director today, and I really liked the home. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were nice. The activities looked fun too. It seems like a great place for seniors.

"Owner great, private rooms, caring staff, clean and sunny home"
I really liked the owner here. They have private rooms where you can even have a piano if you want. All meals are served in the dining room, and the doctor comes to visit at the home. The residents I saw seemed happy and comfortable. The place has hardwood floors, not carpet, and there are no private bathrooms. The owner has been running the place for a long time and says that her caregivers are very involved, helping residents with eating and other needs. They provide a lot of assistance with showers and bathroom needs. There are alarms on the doors, but no electronic monitoring. The home is bright, clean, and the owner respects everyone's privacy.
