The meals and dining are consistent. Day staff is great, but nighttime lacks attentiveness. Improvement needed in care consistency and communication.

The tours were okay, but what really mattered was finding a place where my loved one felt comfortable. She's a private person, so the right environment was crucial. No interference with her privacy, please.

"Happy with Avalon’s caring staff and great improvements!"
My stepmother has been at Avalon for a short time. The staff have been very caring, kind, and efficient. They handle her aggression really well. They have been able to give her baths regularly, unlike her old place, which only managed that a few times in the past year. Avalon also took care of her toenail problems and trimmed her nails during the first week! She is happier than I’ve seen her in years and is eating better now. We are extremely happy with Avalon and its staff. They are both efficient and warm-hearted, genuinely caring for all the residents.
