"Lackluster Assisted Living Experience"
My family and I were disappointed with our experience at the assisted living facility. Every time we visited, we encountered several rude staff members. There were constant mix-ups with medications, either they weren't given at the correct time or dosage. We had to remind them to do our laundry and clean our room sometimes. The staff even argued with some of the patients. We had to request showers because they wouldn't stick to the schedule. When we raised these issues with the house manager, they were unprofessional and rude. We escalated our concerns to the area manager, but despite assurances, nothing really changed. On the positive side, the meals were decent, but there were very few activities available.

"Ideal Care for Dementia at Monticello West"
Monticello West is just right for my friend. She has dementia, and the staff always helps her stay active with fun things to do, like games and exercises. She loves it here, and when her brother visited, he talked with the staff and thinks it's great too.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We got ripped off. The contract said we'd get money back if Mom passed. She did, but we haven't been paid. They talk big but don't deliver. Don't trust them; get everything written down.

"Avoid This Lackluster Assisted Living Facility At All Costs"
This place is awful. My father was only there for a few weeks when they had to rush him to the ER for an infection. They don't have enough staff members to properly look after their residents. Moreover, the owner is only interested in making money. The moment I handed them the 30-day notice during the first week, they got upset because I was shifting him. I wouldn't trust them. This place is the absolute worst. I advise you not to learn this in the hard way.

"Insufficient Care and Oversight in Assisted Living Facility"
Don't choose this place if your loved one needs a lot of help. It's fine for people who can do more on their own. They said they could take care of a high level of needs, but we've seen they can't. The room size was okay. There's not much watching over what's happening. They don't have nurses who work there. No one with medical training is in charge. My mom ran out of an important medicine, and they didn't tell me. She didn't have it for 3 days, and they didn't think it was a big problem.

"Lavendale Circle provided excellent care for my dad."
My dad had a great experience at Lavendale Circle. The staff cared for him around the clock, and he felt at home. The beautiful house and tasty food made it even better.

"Facility with friendly staff and nice location but costly and inflexible."
The staff here are really nice and caring, and the place itself is lovely. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite right for our dad because they couldn't meet all of his needs. It was expensive to move in, and the monthly rent was also steep. They also require a 45-day notice for cancellation, which was tough when our dad had to go to the hospital and couldn't come back here.

"Mixed Feelings About This Care Home"
I feel okay about my dad moving to this care home, but I do have some worries. I want to discuss the amount of sugar and sweets he gets with the staff. Since he's diabetic, he needs to be careful with his sugar intake. Apart from that concern, the staff have been great. They maintain the home well and keep it clean. Right now, I'm undecided about recommending this care home—it's a work in progress overall.

"Mixed Feelings About Dad's New Assisted Living Home"
I'm okay with my dad living at this care home, but there are some issues. I really need to talk to the staff because they give him too many sweets. He's diabetic, and has to watch his sugar. Besides that, the staff are pretty great. They keep the place clean. I'm not sure yet if I'd tell others to use this home. It's still getting there overall.

"Helpful over the phone, but they couldn't accept us."
I didn’t tour this home because, after discussing their services, they couldn’t accept us due to the need for a feeding tube. I had no issues during our interaction, and they even helped me find the right place.

"Pretty but Lacks Structure - Not Ideal for Mom"
This place used to be a nice house and it's still pretty safe. But, there's no real schedule here and not enough chances for getting exercise and hanging out with others. It's not really what my Mom needs.

"Very Happy with the Community"
I love that it’s a community and my mom feels like she’s part of a family there. The staff understand everyone’s needs and make it cozy for them. My mom hasn’t complained about the meals or activities they provide. From what I know, everything is going well and I’m very happy with the community.

"Best care choice for Mom"
I have no complaints. I’m happy and pleased with the staff and services at Lavendale Circle. This was the best choice for my mother considering her age and physical condition. I recommend this option for elderly care over nursing facilities. She was in a nursing facility for years before Lavendale Circle, and there’s no comparison. This home is much better for her at this point in her life. The staff gives more personal attention and care. I 100% recommend Lexington Place and their organization.

"Great at keeping everyone informed"
Lexington Place - Lavendale - is awesome. I've visited many places over the years, and this one is the best. They really take care of the residents' health. If there's ever a problem, the staff communicates very well. I'm very happy with this place.

"spacious, peaceful, and staff are very attentive"
I visited Lexington Place on June 16, 2015, to see a friend who lives there. The place was very impressive. It's a big house that's well-kept. The backyard has a nice covered gazebo with chairs, making it a peaceful and relaxing spot. The rooms are spacious and have their own private bathrooms. My friend is very happy there. She moved from another facility where she wasn’t getting proper care. We liked her room, which her family was able to personalize for her. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The thing that stood out the most was how calm and peaceful the place is. My friend’s room has three windows, which let in lots of sunlight and make it feel more connected to the outdoors. It’s a big improvement from her previous place. She’s really happy there, and that says it all.

"A Wonderful and Peaceful Place for Seniors"
I visited Lexington Place on June 16, 2015, to see a friend who lives there. The place really impressed me. It's a big, well-kept home. The backyard has a nice covered gazebo with chairs, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with their own bathrooms. My friend is very happy living there after moving from another facility that didn’t take good care of her. We enjoyed her room, which her family was able to personalize. The staff were very friendly and attentive. What stood out most is how calm and peaceful it is. My friend’s room has three windows that let in sunlight and a view of the outdoors. It’s a huge improvement over her last place. She’s very happy here, and that says it all.

"Amazing Place for Loved Ones Great Staff and Huge Rooms!"
I absolutely love them! We’re so happy we found Lexington Place! My family and I think it’s just perfect for my loved one. The staff communicates really well, and if there’s ever a problem, they call right away. They also keep good records, which is important! They always do what they say they will. The room is really big and was just the right price! There’s a nice patio and everything! The only thing is they could have more activities, but that might change in the summer. Overall, they’re really great!

"Pet-free Assisted Living with Cozy Rooms and 24/7 Care"
I talked to the director. They don't let you have pets. The house looks really nice and is well organized. The room they have available is a bit small but it comes with its own bathroom. They can accommodate up to 10 people but there's only one spot open right now. There's another house called Meadow with bigger rooms, but they're not as new, and everyone there shares a bathroom. They can take in 9 people, but only 6 live there currently. They keep the temperature inside at 75 degrees. They have staff working in two shifts, one during the day and one at night. They have cameras in public places, but there's no one around to tell you how much everything costs.
